The relationship you have with your thoughts is directly related to the peace you have within. In this meditation we are going to help heal this relationship and practice allowing thoughts to be there, allowing them to pass like clouds in the sky. Its a gentle reminder that you are not your thoughts and why resisting thought causes more harm than good. Enjoy this healing and let go.

Hello everyone.

Welcome to this session for healing your thoughts.

Just find a comfortable and relaxing environment so you can lie down and gently close your eyes.

Coming into this very moment.

Relax.

Relax.

If you wish,

Gently putting your hands on your forehead.

You can place your elbows on a high table and rest your forehead in your palms or just naturally placing your hands on your head when you are lying down.

Gently rubbing your forehead and feeling it.

Your thoughts are all in here.

I'm sure you've had a busy mind before.

Maybe you do right now.

But as we touch our forehead,

We're just going to naturally watch our thoughts,

Giving our attention here,

Now.

Whatever comes up.

Not attaching.

Just watching like you're watching clouds pass by.

If you get pulled in by your thoughts,

Bring your attention back to your hands on your forehead.

These hands act as a safeguard for you,

An anchor.

You have wonderful healing hands.

Just watching whatever thoughts.

Whatever your thoughts are,

It's okay.

Thoughts are okay to have.

Resisting them will only cause tension within.

Let them be there from a distance.

They may be friendly thoughts.

They may be neutral.

Noticing them like you're watching the television.

Could be a comedy.

Could be an action.

It could be a thriller.

But just watching.

Your thoughts are not you.

Then letting go of watching your thoughts and just rubbing your forehead in whatever way you wish.

Gently caressing and relaxing.

Being aware of your hands touching your skin.

Knowing that you are not your thoughts.

Noticing the sensations that come up.

Then giving some gratitude towards the thinking process.

How you need it for survival.

For your daily needs.

For any sort of learning or organizing.

For any relationship or friendship.

Thoughts are essential.

It's just balancing your thoughts and stillness.

Resistance to thoughts will only increase thoughts.

Your mind and your thoughts do so much for you.

Now as this meditation comes to an end.

Gently taking your hands down from your head.

And moving your body around.

Waking yourself back up.

When you're ready opening your eyes.

Thank you so much for listening.

If you remember anything from this meditation.

Remember that you are not your thoughts.

Come back to this meditation anytime you wish.

Have a great day,

Week and year.

I will see you soon.

Very nice meditation . You have said we are not our thoughts , but they are part of us and with us all the time and necessary as you said . So separating that is something else like finding the self looking in at the thoughts? Is that correct ?
