Hello people,

Welcome to this meditation for connecting to your hands.

Your hands are a very underappreciated part of our lives.

Every single day we use our hands for very important functions such as eating and drinking.

In a few moments we are going to connect in with our hands,

Becoming aware and allow them to express themselves to us.

Let's just close our eyes,

If we already haven't,

And just bring our attention into our own inner world.

Bringing ourselves inwards,

Inwards,

Inwards.

Any thoughts,

Just letting them gently float through your mind for the next few moments.

Sometimes thoughts are just there,

Casually in the mind,

Floating by.

It could be fleeting thoughts,

About what you have done today,

Or what you are going to do today.

Right now,

Just bring our attention to the hands.

What are the hands wanting to express to you today?

Noticing with a sense of curiosity what is coming up around the hand area.

Do you sense comfort?

A warm feeling?

Maybe discomfort or a pressure feeling?

Maybe nothing at all?

It's not important what you are noticing,

But it is important that you are noticing it.

This is your body's way of expressing itself,

Through various different sensations.

They may be very subtle sensations,

Or there may be no sensations at all.

That's perfectly okay.

This is not a competition about who can feel the most sensations.

You are just noticing your hand area,

And what it is expressing to you today.

Notice the palm of your hands now.

Just being aware of the subtleties of this area.

Any thoughts,

We are just going to gently bring our awareness back to the palms of the hands.

Then moving our attention to the knuckles,

Allowing yourself to experiment with what's going on here.

Moving your attention to your fingers and thumbs.

Any discomfort here?

Any subtle sensations?

The fingers are very delicate regions of the body.

A lot of the times,

We forget about these regions.

This is our time to let them express themselves,

However they wish.

Then,

Just moving our attention back to the whole of the hands.

Sending the hands love and appreciation this time.

Allowing time for gratitude,

As your hands rest here in this moment.

Whatever comes up,

Allowing it to be there.

Now as this meditation comes to an end,

We are gently going to bring our awareness back to the whole of the body.

Waking ourselves back up once again.

Bringing our attention up to the surface.

And when we are ready,

Opening our eyes.

Great stuff.

Well done for taking the time out to connect with your hands.

Thank you for listening and I will see you soon.
