Hello friend,
Welcome to this meditation,
Teaching you to accept your physical pain and reduce your physical strain.
You might ask,
Why would I accept my physical pain?
I want to get rid of it,
I don't want to accept it.
In this meditation,
This very common question will be solved through the power of the mind,
Body and spirit connection.
For now,
Just gently close your eyes and come down into this very moment.
Bringing a sense of subtle awareness into the present.
The outside world is not a concern of yours.
You're not missing out on anything.
It will all be here for you when you finish this meditation.
Now,
I'm going to count to three.
At the end of this count,
Your body will be enclosed in a safe,
Relaxing protective bubble.
One.
Relaxing down as the bubble forms around you.
Forming around your feet,
Your legs,
Your upper body and your head.
Two.
This bubble wraps around you.
Flexible.
Comfortable.
Expandable.
It has such a nice feeling to it.
It's like a loving embrace.
Three.
You feel so relaxed.
So safe.
You are truly in a safe place right now.
A place where you can be yourself.
A place full of love and acceptance.
Now,
Just bringing a gentle awareness to your physical body.
Not zoning in on anything.
Just bringing your awareness to the body at large.
Beginning to notice it with a sense of curiosity.
Notice the subtle sensations you may feel when you tune in.
A warm feeling here.
A cold feeling there.
A cold feeling there.
A tingling sensation here.
A pressure sensation there.
It's important to trust your body.
It knows what it's doing.
These sensations are just there.
Not bringing your mind into them.
Let them be.
Now gently we are going to bring our attention to the area where you feel the most pain.
You may want to get rid of the pain.
To not look at it.
To resist it at all costs.
But it's time for you to be with your pain.
Not to avoid it,
But to be curious about it.
Look at this pain like it's a game.
And the game is to notice what sensations it's bringing you today.
Just with a sense of curiousness.
Interest in the sensation.
It's okay if it's uncomfortable.
We are not here today to resist pain.
That just leads to more pain.
We are here to accept it.
To allow it to express.
This leads to healing.
This leads to healing.
Because the body knows what to do.
And this pain is a symptom of your wonderful body.
It's here for a reason.
Let the body do it's thing.
The sensations will pass on soon enough.
Don't worry.
Just letting it be there for as long as it needs.
Playing the sensation game.
What are you noticing?
Is your mind tensing up as a reaction?
It's okay.
Relax.
Lean into the sensation.
Not away from it.
Just being curious.
Learning to accept what comes up each moment.
If you feel it being too much,
Just know that you are safe.
Wrapped in the love of the protective bubble.
This bubble will not let anything harm you.
Including your pain.
Keep on noticing the sensations and smiling with them.
Have a smile on your face.
Just being aware and watching.
That's all.
That's all that's needed.
The body takes care of the rest.
There's nothing to be afraid of.
Your body is just trying to protect you with this pain.
It's trying to look out for you.
Resisting the pain only intensifies the pain.
It brings in the emotions.
It brings in your fears.
Whatever you resist,
Persists.
Let go and let be,
My friend.
You are on the right track to full expression.
Continue to be curious.
Continue to notice what's going on for you.
Any thoughts or distractions.
Just bringing yourself back to the pain area.
Excellent.
Then just bringing your attention back to the whole body.
Know that the pain area has been taken care of by the body for now.
You are safe.
Decreasing resistance and increasing allowance of your pain sensations can truly help you accept your physical pain and reduce your physical strain.
Your system is a born healer.
Your mind,
Body and spirit.
Now just coming back to the world.
Moving your body around.
Moving your body around.
And stretching it if you wish.
Knowing that you're safe.
And everything is going to be okay.
Then opening your eyes with a smile on your face and a courage in your heart.
Well done.
