This short meditation will help you create an intention and change your mindset for the workday or perhaps heading into a meeting. Use this track for your team before a Monday morning work meeting. Helpful for creating positive change and creating a fulfilling purpose in your workday.

Transcript

Let's begin by finding ourselves in a comfortable seated position,

Placing both feet flat and firmly on the ground.

Allowing your hands to gently rest in your lap or perhaps on the arms of your chair.

Your palms facing upward,

Your fingers relaxed loosely outward,

If you haven't already.

Closing down your eyes and together we will begin a short breath practice.

I'm taking a long deep breath in through the nose and exhaling out the mouth with a loud sigh.

And again long deep breath in through the nose and exhale with a loud sigh.

Just allowing yourself to be even more supported by the chair you are seated upon.

And with each breath out consciously letting your whole body relax.

Relaxing further into the space that is holding you.

In this chair,

In this moment,

You can let go.

Now on your next breath in,

Making fists and tightening and tensing the muscles in your hands,

Arms and shoulders,

Legs,

Feet,

Face.

Activating all the muscles in your body,

Tensing and tightening as hard as you can.

Now let go.

Completely let go.

Serving all the muscles in your body,

Relaxing.

Now again deep breath in through the nose,

Tensing all the muscles in your entire body,

Holding hard as you can,

Squeezing all the muscles,

Tightening,

Tightening,

Tightening.

Now let go.

Completely let go.

Relax.

Now I invite you to do a simple body scan.

Just begin to notice if there is any particular area that might be a little bit more tense or if there's a place that needs extra attention.

It might be your neck and shoulders,

The muscles in your forehead and face.

Perhaps your stomach is tight and tense.

I'm wondering if you could perhaps begin to imagine this area softening and simply loosening up.

Or perhaps you are imagining the muscles physically releasing and relaxing.

Just letting go.

Now noticing your breath in its natural state and simply resting your awareness behind your closed eyes.

Noticing your breath,

Becoming aware that you are breathing,

The body slowly breathing in,

The body slowly breathing out.

You might begin to sense how the body feels with the inhale and how it reacts on the exhale.

Your breath is slow and steady.

You are now experiencing feelings of complete and total relaxation.

Your body has completely let go.

Letting go of all thoughts,

Worry and tension.

Trust,

Relax and let go even more.

During this meditation we will be harnessing our inner power,

Aligning our intentions and paving the way for enhanced performance and job satisfaction.

And again taking a deep breath in,

Filling your whole lungs with air and as you slowly exhale,

Feeling the weight of your body sinking deep into the chair grounding you in this present moment.

I invite you to visualize yourself in your role within the company.

Imagine the tasks and responsibilities you'll be addressing in your day or queries you have been assigned.

Picture yourself navigating them with unwavering confidence,

Precision and a deep sense of fulfillment.

See yourself completely thriving in your professional capacity.

As you hold this vision in your mind,

Bring awareness to your whole body and begin taking notice of how this image affects your mind and body.

You might like to imagine it as a radiant light emanating from your heart.

It is symbolizing your intention for this meeting or task.

Perhaps you might like to take a moment to identify your intention for the day.

What would you like to achieve or manifest during our time together?

Is it increased productivity,

Stronger team collaboration or a heightened sense of purpose in your work?

Keeping in mind we phrase these intentions in short concise statements that may begin with I am or I have.

We are stating them in a way that is true for us in this moment.

It might sound like I am a successful leader and I lead with confidence and empathy or perhaps I have completed all my tasks with integrity and purpose.

Visualizing your intention as though it is true for you,

As though it is happening for you already.

Now repeating your intention to yourself a number of times and as you focus in on your intention feel the warmth of that heart centered light expanding.

This light represents commitment to your goals and commitment to yourself.

It radiates positivity,

Clarity and motivation.

Allow it to fill your entire being energizing you and enhancing your sense of purpose.

In a few moments begin to bring awareness back to your body.

Perhaps inviting in some small movements in your fingers,

Wiggling your toes,

Moving your head slowly from side to side.

Carrying your intention with you into the day ahead,

Letting it guide your actions,

Interactions and decisions.

And as you enter the meeting remember that your performance and job satisfaction are not solely shaped by external factors.

Your intention and mindset play a vital role in your success.

When you find yourself in moments of reaction I invite you to replace it with your intention.

Trust in your ability to make a positive impact and know that your intentions hold the power to transform.

Now slowly opening your eyes and coming back to full awareness.
