Hello and welcome to this third part in this anxiety relief series.

So just breathing in and breathing out.

Good.

Just anchoring yourself here.

Letting the music just slowly wash over you.

Relaxing you.

Softening you.

As you come to learn that even in the most anxious of states,

Even in the most sharp of problems,

Just allowing yourself that space,

That comfort,

Just to step back,

Is not only delicious and relaxing,

But also practical,

Pragmatic and helpful.

Having that self worth,

If you like,

Just to allow yourself to be.

Now we've come from part one where we began to understand that we are not that outward expression of anxiety as we feel it in our minds and as we feel it in our bodies.

And that sometimes to take a break,

We might just see the jigsaw that we're trying to sew from a different angle.

In part two,

We delved a bit deeper into the body,

Relaxing different parts,

Different systems as we went along and breathed into them in a loving and soothing way.

Today we're going to bring it back to choice.

As if you think about it,

Anxiety really is just that runaway train ploughing headlong in our thoughts,

In our responses,

Into a reality outcome that we really don't want to happen anyway.

But of course,

Sometimes when we find ourselves in a bit of a fix,

That's where our momentum,

Our processes,

Our thoughts ends up rolling on into.

So today we're just going to strip it back to something really simple.

And this lesson comes today because you've been practicing releasing and allowing yourself a little bit of space.

So breathing in,

Breathing out.

Just finding that space around you now.

And as you're doing this,

As you're breathing in and you're feeling the surface you're sat upon or feeling the surface underneath your feet or your back or your legs if you're lying down.

Just imagine there's a center point in the middle of your mind,

In the middle of your brain.

And almost like all the other parts of your mind are just gently flowing back from the front of your forehead.

Sucking back into this middle point from the top of your head.

Like a plug hole,

Just sucking that all back in from the back of your head,

From your neck.

Feeling that middle point.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

And feeling it start to kind of re-emerge,

Like it's remapping afresh all the different neural pathways of your brain.

Softening your responses and your decision making.

And then gently flowing down from that middle point through your neck into the middle of your chest.

And again like you're pulling the plug out of the path.

Feeling all the space and all the connection just swirling and sucking back in right into the middle of your chest.

From your body,

From your heart and from the space around you just bringing it back.

And then again just re-emerging afresh out across your chest,

Softening your ribs and underneath your armpits and your shoulder blades.

Going into the space around.

And then again just dropping down through your core,

Through your stomach to a point just below your belly button,

Right in the middle of you.

Feeling that.

As you breathe into that centre point just drawing in your feeling,

Drawing in your awareness from your nervous system in that place.

Back into that centre point.

Good and then feeling it re-emerge again.

Bringing your feeling out into your middle,

Into your core,

Into your groin,

Into your organs and feeling down into your legs,

Past your knees,

Right down into the back of your heel and the soles of your feet.

And then just bringing your feeling back up to the middle of your chest.

Just like it's the centre point of two rivers meeting,

One flowing up from down below and one flowing down from up above just enjoying that calm,

Pooling sensation of those waters flowing in you.

Just take a couple of minutes here to feel how that is for you.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

Good and then feeling it re-emerge again.

Good and then feeling it re-emerge again.

Good and then feeling it re-emerge again.

Good and then feeling it re-emerge again.

Good and then feeling it re-emerge again.

Good and then feeling it re-emerge again.

Good and then feeling it re-emerge again.

Now what we just did,

Still breathing in.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

Now what we just did can be done in real time in the waking world with your eyes open wherever you are,

Just to bring you back into your centre in a mental way with your processes and your neurology in an emotional way within your feeling and your endocrine and hormonal system and in that real gut and survival way within your autonomic nervous system,

That fight or flight response.

Now by doing that on a physiological level and building it into your practice,

To your habits,

You're going to be able to make choices,

Decisions,

Not from a survival perspective but from a flow,

Expansion and intuitive state.

All intuition is,

Is your body correctly working with all of the information that presents itself to you.

Our body perceives so much that is outside of our conscious perception,

Signals in the air,

Smells,

Pheromone cues,

What is right for us to eat given the current climate,

The current weather pattern,

Etc.

Etc.

You really don't have to understand it all and I certainly don't.

But as I return daily to the simple and beautiful complexity of my body and being,

I start to recognise that I am an expression of this world and I focus and anchor my thoughts more on a daily basis on the simple and beautiful complexity of the world,

Of life,

Of the love around me.

Again I'm trying,

I'm urging you not to think you have to have it all worked out.

And classically when we think about our thought patterns when we're in a state of anxiety,

We are trying to project and work out every worst case scenario beyond our control by simply relaxing the systems of the body,

The systems of the mind and smoothing the tidal flow of our emotions.

We can learn to dance with the rhythms of life instead of having to constantly record and measure them to feel safe.

Now that's really amazing because actually you do get to see more of them,

Feel more of them,

Be more of them and really this whole process has just been about feeling welcome in yourself to feel welcome in the world around you.

Just breathe in and breathe out.

Just for two minutes just allow that to swim within you.

Just feeling welcome within you and feeling welcome within the world around you.

Just for two minutes just allow that to swim within you.

Just for two minutes just allow that to swim within you.

Just for two minutes just allow that to swim within you.

Just for two minutes just allow that to swim within you.

Still breathing in and breathing out there really is nothing to work out the next move,

The next step will come to you,

Will flow into you choice as we've learned it is kind of having a set of scales working out the worst-case scenario and doing anything but that,

That's got us all into a bit of a pickle hasn't it?

So starting now from a relaxed place,

Relaxed doesn't necessarily mean lazy,

Can indeed mean energetic,

Excited,

Full of laughter,

But it's the core your body is still flowing rather than mustering energy being all serious and penting it up and then slowly burning out as I've come to learn from my own cycles and behaviors it's nice to dance and there's so many different ways to be,

So next time you're faced with a decision,

A choice,

A fork in the road as your mind would have you believe,

Maybe just relax,

Remember bringing yourself back to your center point and then allow the current of the river,

The knowledge of your body,

Your innate awesomeness show you the flow for you,

It has been my pleasure to share these anxiety meditations as I've been learning along with you and the creation of each part is a summary of my embodiment of what I'm going on about.

You are welcome and always will be,

Take care and bye for now.
