Welcome.

Let's begin by arriving into this moment,

Into your body and into your breath.

So find a comfortable seat or lie down if that feels better,

Allowing yourself to soften into wherever you are,

Letting go of whatever came before this moment and gently closing your eyes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and as you exhale through your mouth,

Imagine releasing the tension you've been holding,

Whether you were aware of it or not and again breathe in deeply,

Letting the breath fill you with lightness,

With space and then slowly exhale,

Letting it all fall away.

Let your shoulders soften down away from your ears,

Let your jaw release,

Let your hands rest gently and allow the breath to return to its natural rhythm,

Effortless,

Calm and steady.

Change is a part of life,

Change is fluent and fluid and constant and sometimes also uncomfortable but it's deeply necessary for growth and evolution.

When you look at nature you realize that nothing stays still,

The ocean is never frozen,

The moon never lingers in one phase and no tree ever keeps its leaves forever.

There is a wisdom in that rhythm,

A deep knowing that everything moves,

Everything shifts and somehow everything continues.

You may be navigating a moment of uncertainty right now,

Perhaps an ending,

A transition or a new beginning and it feels heavy or unfamiliar.

Remind yourself you're not alone in that.

Know that your soul understands how to move through change even when your mind wants to cling to the past or to control the future.

So for now just breathe and allow yourself to be with whatever you're feeling without needing to label it or needing to fix it or even understand it fully.

Just let it rise and fall like the waves.

Begin to bring your attention to your breath again,

Noticing the way it flows in through your nose,

Expanding gently into your belly and then flows out,

Softening your body just a little more with every exhale.

With every inhale imagine drawing in steadiness,

Clarity,

Support and with each exhale letting go of fear,

Letting go of pressure and resistance.

Sometimes when we are in the middle of change it's easy to forget that transformation often looks like unravelling before it looks like becoming.

The cocoon doesn't look like flight but the wings are already forming within it.

So use this as a reminder that you don't have to rush and you also don't have to know exactly where you're going.

You just have to stay soft enough to listen and patient enough to let things unfold.

Now I invite you to bring to mind the change you're currently moving through.

It might be a shift in your outer world or something more subtle within.

Just hold it gently in your awareness without judgement or expectations,

Just witnessing it with compassion and curiosity and quietly within yourself repeat,

I allow this change to teach me.

I am open to growth.

I allow this change to teach me.

I am open to growth.

Even if you cannot yet see the gift that this change will bring,

Know that everything holds the potential for new energy,

New lessons,

New parts of you to awaken.

In many spiritual traditions change is not seen as a loss but as a sacred movement of life.

It reminds us that everything is impermanent and in that impermanence we are free to begin again.

Now slowly bring a hand to your heart.

Feel its warmth,

The steady rhythm beneath your palm,

That quiet reminder that you are still here,

Still breathing,

Still becoming and whisper softly to yourself,

I am safe in this change.

I trust the unfolding of my life.

And breathe that in deeply,

Fully,

Completely.

As you continue breathing,

Gently remind yourself that you don't need to have it all figured out today.

You don't need to have it all figured out today.

You don't need to be anywhere other than exactly where you are.

And this space,

The one you're in right now,

Is already enough.

Now let's return to the breath once more.

Inhale slowly through your nose,

Letting that inhale fill your body with light.

And as you exhale,

Imagine everything that is no longer serving you gently melting away.

Begin to bring a little movement back into your fingers,

Your toes.

Maybe gently roll your head side to side or stretch it in a way that feels intuitive.

And when it feels right,

Slowly flutter your eyes open,

Letting the light in gently,

Letting the world meet you in this new state of presence.

Thank you for showing up for yourself.

And thank you for trusting me to guide you through this meditation.

Namaste.
