Welcome,
My name is Lou Redmond and today we're going to move right into our practice.
And our practice is around opening us,
Connecting us,
And asking some questions that maybe we haven't asked in a while,
We haven't asked in just this way.
And so go ahead and allow yourself to close down your eyes and come into your body,
Letting the body fall and rest down towards the ground and still keeping that light alertness through the upper body.
Allowing yourself to take a few rounds of breath,
Creating space with each inhale.
And rooting and relaxing with each exhale.
I'll be sharing this poem a few times,
But the first time allowing yourself to connect and see if anything comes up.
You are not dead yet.
It's not too late to open your depths by plunging into them and drink in life that reveals itself quietly there.
You're not dead yet.
And anything that is telling you any reason for why you can't go for your dreams or why you can't live the life that is ready for you,
That you know deep down that you are meant to live,
All of that is not based on your highest self.
You are not dead yet.
It's not too late to open your depths by plunging into them and drink in life that reveals itself quietly there.
It's not too late.
What does that bring up for you?
It's not too late for what?
To start that program,
That certification,
To leave that relationship,
To pursue a new path.
Not needing to find the answer here,
But just asking that question and allowing what wants to show to show,
Staying in your body,
Being with the question.
What is it not too late for?
And as you breathe and start to feel into this,
See if you can imagine the depths of yourself opening.
You may feel this as a widening of your spirit.
Maybe you feel as if the floor beneath you was opening up or you open up.
It's something that's inviting you to go deeper.
Inviting you to metaphorically start to move towards the depths of yourself.
In these depths are what is calling for you to drink in.
What does it mean for you to drink in life?
What do you think that could be?
Maybe you see water in the depths beneath,
Maybe it's this goldenness representing your aliveness,
Your vitality,
Your zest.
Can you imagine yourself drinking in life here?
Can you feel the vitality as you fully embrace and engage with this?
Drinking and drinking in your life,
Giving yourself that permission.
Allow that vitality to course through your body,
Imagining that its energy has a whisper for you.
It has a revelation to share.
So I'd like you to imagine your outside world get muted.
Really come in,
Really getting quiet inside.
And as Rilke noted,
This is where we're connecting with that revelation.
What wants to come out,
Our calling,
Our dream,
Our purpose.
So begin to silently repeat,
May it reveal itself.
May it reveal itself.
Maybe you say,
Reveal yourself.
As if you're commanding it,
Reveal yourself.
And then simply just reveal,
Reveal,
Reveal.
Like that,
And just stay in your heart for a few moments,
Seeing if anything comes up.
And then taking a breath in and out.
There are two ways to act in our life.
One is out of love and the other is out of fear.
I ask you to think about how have you been acting?
How have you let fear hold you back by drinking in your life?
And not to judge or get down on yourself here.
All I ask you to do is to make a sacrifice and surrender this fear.
Ask for it to be taken away.
Maybe you say,
I surrender this fear.
It does not serve my highest good.
And feel the fear getting released out of you.
Feeling it,
Sacrificing it so that you may move into a place of choosing the things in your life with and out of love.
And so once that is surrendered,
Coming back into your heart and requesting,
Asking,
May I decide with love?
May I act with love?
May I decide with love?
May I act with love?
And when you're ready,
Go ahead and come back into your body.
Open your eyes and come back into your room.
I so deeply hope that you follow your call and you drink the river of life energy that is flowing to you and through you.
And may you let go of that fear and act with love.
As always,
It is a pleasure to guide you.
Sending you so much love wherever this finds you.
Always love to connect with you.
So let me know.
Namaste.
