If we were to pause for a moment, and honour what our heart communicates , even just a single word, a sentence , a colour, an image, a sound or a sensation ; what would we hear or see or feel? Listening To The Subtle Voice Within.

Namaste.

Today I'd like to share with you something about listening to the subtle voice within.

If you were to pause for a moment,

Not to think or analyse or fix anything,

But simply to honour what your heart is offering.

What do you think your heart would like to offer and reveal to you?

Perhaps not a sentence,

Perhaps not even a thought.

It may arrive as a single word,

A soft hue moving softly through your inner field,

An image without a story or narrative,

A sound without origin,

A sensation that doesn't any need to explain or justify itself.

This is how truth speaks,

Gently,

Economically,

Without performance or drama.

We are so conditioned to look outwardly for any meaning to our lives and ask the world who and what we are,

To wait for a reflection,

Approval and permission.

And in that,

We forget that the heart is already fluent in the language of knowing.

You see,

The heart does not have a need or scarcity within,

And so it does not need to shout.

It does not argue its case.

It does not compete with the noise of the world.

It whispers.

And that whisper can only be heard when you soften your grip on the becoming of something and rest into the unbecoming flowering or blossoming into a being.

Can you allow yourself to do this?

Because when you pause,

And I mean truly,

Truly pause,

The nervous system exhales,

The inner tempo slows down,

And the constant reaching for something as a destination dissolves for one moment into this being.

And in that stillness,

Something ancient,

Something very deep as an inner knowing stirs.

You may feel a warmth in your chest or a gentle expansion behind the ribs,

Quiet ache,

Not a sadness,

But a remembrance.

This is not imagination.

This is a recognition.

And the Yogic and Tantric traditions remind us that this presence of being always reveals itself not through effort,

But through attunement or alignment with the soul.

A yantra reveals its power only when it's gazed upon with reverence.

And the heart reveals its truth only when approached without demand or control.

Ask nothing of it,

But allow it and simply listen to it.

A colour may arise like indigo or rose,

Gold,

Deep red,

Each one carrying a frequency and each pointing towards a layer of your own untattooing of the masks you've been wearing to reveal the purity of being in the heart.

An image may surface such as a vast sky or a temple or even a flame or the ocean breathing its rhythm within you.

Some people may hear words such as trust,

Enough,

Safety,

Home,

Rest.

Please do not rush to interrupt any words or images.

Allow them to live inside you in presence and allow them to work you from within.

Inner joy is not an emotion that we chase.

It is a state that we remember when we stop abandoning ourselves.

It is the quiet confidence of being aligned with your own essence and the softness that comes with that when you no longer resist your depth.

And so here at Art of Inner Joy,

This pause is very sacred.

It is a moment where illusion loosens,

Where the Shakti no longer needs to roar because she's finally being heard.

In the inner cave of the heart,

And today offer yourself this small devotion to yourself.

Simply pause,

Place your awareness gently in your heart,

Ask nothing,

And listen.

And whatever arises,

Even if it is silence,

Trust that it is enough because the sound of truth does not need an audience.

And joy in its purest form is already waiting inside your own listening.

So allow yourself to surrender into the depths and crevices of your heart,

Into your presence of being that never left you and never will.

Shri Matre Namaha.

I bow down to that presence within.

Thank you.
