Have you ever woken up feeling drained?
Thinking another day.
Every day seemed to be the same but somehow you lost the purpose of why you do what you do.
Today I'd love to share a practice with you to help you reclaim your power and to come back to re-centered.
The initial practice will start with alert postures then slowly come more towards resting to the ground.
So let's get us out into the place that feels more alert but still relaxed.
You could be sitting with feet grounding to earth,
Knees stacked over the ankles,
Spines upright.
You could also be standing tall.
Just feel the connection.
First the feet to the ground.
Let the toes relax,
Toes spread wide.
Feel the sensation of the earth underneath you.
Land the shoulder to softening.
Breathe from here calmly through the nose.
Now exhale to help you feel more settled.
The gravity simply draw your body sound towards the earth.
Again,
Your tongue breathing calmly,
Being attuned of your postures,
The relationship of your body to the ground.
Now exhale again.
The breath to release of any excessive weight.
Any heaviness that you might be carrying on.
You now might bring your palms to rest on your body.
Your right palms might come rest on your lower abdomen.
Left palms might come to rest on your heart.
Simply to feel a sensation of your hand on your body.
How your body shape change when you inhale and exhale.
You can relax your abdomen.
Relax the space around your heart.
Seeing that the hand gestures on your body is bringing a care,
A love,
Acceptance that you well deserved.
When you breathe in,
So you can feel from a chest region slowly lift,
Expanding out.
Allow the breath to move slowly down to abdomen to expand.
Exhale,
Feet abdomens draw gently in,
Chest softening and breath gently come out through the nose.
Breathing diaphragmatically,
Connecting to a solar plexus area,
Your power that's always here all along.
And so you can breathe in this way,
Comfortably through nose,
Let your whole torsos,
Your chest expand and softening,
Exhale.
You might whisper,
I'm here for myself.
Breathe in,
I am here.
Breathing out,
For myself.
Taking your time to keep connecting to a sensation in your body.
Let your breath navigate your journeys to connect with your centers to who you are.
Allowing whatever is might been going on for a moment,
Just kind of fade away in the background,
Bringing forward the love,
The connection to yourself,
Putting you in a center.
Allow your whole body to relax,
With a sense of relaxation.
You're feeling saved,
Empowered.
You might whisper as you inhale,
I am power.
As you exhale,
I am power.
Allow yourself to feel more at home in your own skin.
To remember that you have the power to choose.
Choose to respond to what's going on.
Choose to pause,
Given a moment like this,
To bring love to yourself.
And close our practice.
For the connections that come from the abdomens area,
Projecting the voice,
It could be a sound of ah,
Could be a sound of um,
Ah,
Ooh,
Um.
It could be your own sound.
Express this in the connection,
The yawning inside into voice.
In today's you might say,
The ah or um,
Or any sound to be a representation of your power that are ready to expand out.
The power to choose,
The power to recenter,
To remember your purpose,
Your focus.
