Welcome to my meditation for moving past fear.
Begin in a comfortable seated position.
Rest your hands on your thighs.
Relax your eyes and allow your gaze to soften and rest unfocused or close them completely.
Breathe deeply inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.
Inhale for the count of five and exhale for the count of five.
Now allow your breathing to fall into an easy and natural rhythm.
Slowly scan your body taking note of how your body feels in this very moment.
Focus on any areas that feel tense or uncomfortable and concentrate on relaxing these areas.
Feel your body becoming more relaxed slowly releasing any tension.
Letting go of any anxiety or feelings of fear that have made you all tight within your body.
Deep breath in and exhale out.
We all feel fear at times and that's entirely natural but when fears begin to choose for us we become cowardly.
Most people think of fear as a negative emotion but it's actually a good natural response because it means we are pushing ourselves and dreaming big.
Fear always appears when you're about to embark on something great.
We need to learn to transform our fear into an empowering energy.
We can't control the emotions that enter our mind but we can control how we react to them.
Transforming fear is ultimately a daily practice.
Become aware of the fear,
Understand and metabolize it,
Reframe it and then let it go.
Get clear on what failing would mean to you personally.
Make peace with the worst case scenario and remember there are no failures really,
Just experiments.
Learn to develop a trust in the universe so you can confidently walk into the unknown with a deep faith that at the end of the day things will be alright.
Deep breath in and exhale all that fear out and again.
Now say to yourself,
Although I feel the fear I trust the universe and I'll go forward with courage.
And again,
Although I feel the fear I trust the universe and I will go forward with courage.
And now silently sit with this intention for a few minutes until you hear my voice telling you to come out of the meditation.
And now it's time to come back to your body and your breath.
Deep breath in and exhale out.
Slowly wiggle your fingers and your toes.
And now open your eyes.
Now as you go on with your day today,
Remember fear will make you think that being in a comfort zone is the safest place to be.
But the truth is,
Staying in a safe zone will do nothing for you as a person or your life because fear is probably the one thing holding you back from your dreams.
So go forth with courage today.
You only have one life,
So live it.
Have a beautiful,
Strength-filled day.
And thank you for being here with me.
