Keeping calm is a bliss that most of us don’t achieve in life. When you keep calm in the most stressful conditions of life, you open up the avenues for solutions. Everyone deals with harsh challenges in life and to survive in this crazy but beautiful world, we need to be able to flourish and function. By breathing slower and more deeply from your stomach, you signal your nervous system to calm down.

Transcript

To begin,

Become physically still,

Wherever you are,

Either lying,

Sitting or even standing.

Use a posture where you are as comfortable as possible and close your eyes.

Bring your awareness to whatever is going on for you right now.

Give the weight of your body up to gravity.

Allow your weight to sink into points of contact between your body and the floor,

The chair or the bed.

What sensations are you feeling right now?

Have you noticed any tension or resistance towards any painful or unpleasant sensations?

Gently turn towards them.

Accept them as best as you can.

Soften into gravity.

Notice any thoughts as they arise and pass through your mind.

Observe them as if they were clouds in the sky.

As you go deeper inward,

Be present and aware of any emotions or feelings.

Let them go if they arise and come back to this present state of awareness.

Now allow this awareness to gather around your breath.

Can you feel your awareness within the flow and movements of your breath?

Use the breath to anchor your awareness in the present moment,

Noticing each inhale and exhale.

Every time you notice your mind wandering,

Gently guide your attention back to your breath.

Deep breath in and exhale out.

Your mind is your instrument.

Learn to be its master and not its slave.

Another deep breath in and let it go.

Your health,

Your experiences and your life do not have to be at the mercy of your negative emotions.

When you consciously choose to focus on a thought or belief that is positive,

Comforting or hopeful,

You are clearing out the emotional clutter that's weighing you down.

You're energetically shifting yourself to a better place.

By removing the mountains,

You begin by carrying away small stones.

Continue to focus on the feeling of your breath flowing into your nostrils,

Feeling a state of peace and calm filling your body.

And now repeat after me.

I allow my inner strength and guidance to show me the way.

And now silently in your mind.

I allow my inner strength and guidance to show me the way.

Slow andizou clears the hour.

Institution Slowly bring your awareness back to your breath.

Taking a deep breath in,

Long exhale out.

Feeling the energy running through your whole entire system.

Feeling re-energized,

Rebalanced and peaceful.

Slowly open your eyes.
