Transcript

This is a meditation focusing on winding down and getting ready for bed.

Begin in a comfortable seated or lying down position.

Make sure you are comfortable.

Close your eyes.

Notice how good it feels to close your heavy eyelids after a long day.

When you are settled start to take deep breaths in through your nose and out for the count of four.

With every inhale and exhale you are getting closer and closer to a deeper more relaxing state.

With every breath feel all the stress of your day melt away.

Feel your body slowing down and getting ready for bed.

All you need to think about is this current moment.

Stay kind and patient with your mind.

If thoughts arrive or you get distracted by the day's events or tomorrow's plans,

Simply acknowledge them and let them go.

Breathe it out.

Begin to bring awareness to your face.

Relax your forehead.

Let your eyes become heavier and heavier.

Relax your jaw.

Completely let go of any tension in your face.

Inhale and a long exhale out.

And now simply just enjoy this moment of stillness and connection to all that you are.

Now slowly just enjoy this moment of stillness and connection to all that you are.

And now simply just enjoy this moment of stillness and connection to all that you are.
