I invite you to dedicate time to self-care.
Self-care is nothing else than dedicating loving attention to yourself,
To your body,
To your mind,
To your heart,
To your whole being.
Just like a gardener takes care of his or her garden.
So do you take care of your inner garden.
Settle into a comfortable pose with your spine straight up,
Your shoulders soft,
Your chest,
Your heart slightly opened and your eyes closed.
Take a deep breath as you arrive in the here and now,
As you arrive in your body,
As you arrive in your own awareness,
As you arrive in your inner garden and see this inner garden of yours.
How does it look?
What kind of plants and flowers are there?
What fruit or vegetables?
What is the size of the garden?
Is there a fence around it or is it limitless,
Stretching to the horizon?
What are the colors?
Is there vivid green?
Are there any blossoms that shine?
Any flowers that radiate?
What is the weather?
What is the temperature of your inner garden?
Are there any animals,
Any movements in your inner garden?
Just like a gardener stroll through your garden,
Observe what is there.
Observe those plants that shine,
That are happy and also observe other plants that are out of season,
Drying up.
As you stroll through your inner garden,
You see the life as it comes and goes like the seasons in the natural world,
Asking for cycles of life and death.
Stroll through your inner garden and accept with gratitude everything that's there,
All the changes,
All the colors,
The strength as well as the past strength.
If you want to stroll a little further,
Take your time,
Observe plants and animals,
Light and temperature for as long as you wish.
Whenever you're ready in your own time,
You take a breath and with appreciation for your inner world,
Your inner garden,
You may return to the outer world and the outer garden of life.
