Welcome to your obsessive thinking EFT tapping meditation.
Obsessive thinking can be so hard to deal with.
So I really wanted to allow you to work through it today with this meditation.
I want to start with a disclaimer that I am not a mental health practitioner.
So if you feel that you need further help with your obsessive thinking,
Please seek out a professional.
Oftentimes obsessive thinking feels so uncontrollable and like there's no way for us to make it stop and we might even beat ourselves up about having these obsessive thoughts.
So today let's just try to release these thoughts and allow ourselves to feel however we need to feel right now.
I want you to go ahead and get comfortable.
I'm going to tell you where to tap so all you need to do is feel the words that I say or say them aloud after me.
You can start by grading yourself from a one through 10,
10 being the strongest of where you are in your obsessive thinking right now.
We're going to tap and regrade ourselves at the end of this meditation.
Let's begin by taking a deep breath in and out.
Let's start tapping on the side of our hand in the point that is right in the middle of the bottom of your pinky finger and your wrist.
I know that I sometimes have obsessive thoughts,
But I fully love and accept myself anyway.
I know that I can feel so helpless when I have these thoughts come up,
But I fully love and accept myself anyway.
I know that I can get to a place where I no longer give these thoughts power and I fully love and accept myself.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Now let's start tapping at your eyebrow.
All of the negativity.
Side of your eye.
All of the obsession.
Under your eye.
All of the worry.
Under your nose.
It feels so bad to me right now.
Under your mouth.
And I want to release it all.
Collarbone.
I don't want these thoughts to take over anymore.
Under your armpit.
I don't like how they affect my mood.
Top of the head.
And I don't like how they affect my life.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Eyebrow.
I no longer want to give these thoughts power.
Side eye.
Because I hate how it feels when they take over.
Under eye.
It feels so frustrating.
Under nose.
Sometimes I don't know why I stay in this loop.
Under mouth.
I can't feel like I always care so much.
Collarbone.
But my brain is telling me that I care.
Under your armpit.
And so I stay in these obsessive thought loops.
Top of the head.
And I want to allow myself to release them.
Take a deep breath in.
And out.
Eyebrow.
What if I stopped giving these thoughts power?
Side eye.
I started asking myself if they were true when they came up.
Under eye.
What if I could acknowledge the thoughts when they came through?
Under nose.
And then allow myself to release them.
Under mouth.
And just stop holding onto these thoughts.
Collarbone.
And letting myself know that they aren't true and they don't hold power over me.
Under your armpit.
I hold the power over me and my thoughts.
Top of the head.
What if I knew that I held all of the power?
Take a deep breath in.
And out.
Eyebrow.
I allow thoughts to come through my mind.
Side eye.
So those thoughts might be amazing.
Under eye.
Some might be negative.
Under nose.
And I might want to hold onto these negative thoughts.
Under mouth.
And even obsess or ruminate over them.
Collarbone.
But I am allowing myself to let them go.
Under your armpit.
I allow myself to stop giving power to these thoughts.
Top of the head.
I allow myself to be more powerful than my thoughts.
Take a deep breath in.
And out.
Eyebrow.
It's safe for me to let these obsessive thoughts go.
Side eye.
I no longer need to keep them swirling around in my mind.
Under eye.
I let these thoughts only hold the truth and power that I give them.
Under nose.
And I no longer give them power.
Under mouth.
I allow all my thoughts to come through.
Collarbone.
But I no longer allow them to take over.
Under your armpit.
I feel so happy when I allow myself to have the power over my thoughts.
Top of the head.
I feel so happy when I can release all of my obsessive thoughts.
Take a deep breath in.
And out.
Eyebrow.
It feels so good when I don't hold onto these negative thoughts.
Side eye.
It feels so good when I don't give these thoughts the power anymore.
Under eye.
I feel so free now.
Under nose.
I know that I have the power.
Under mouth.
If I do get into an obsessive loop again.
Collarbone.
I give myself grace and just remember that ultimately I have the power.
Under your armpit.
I can choose to think whatever I want to think.
Top of the head.
I no longer give my obsessive thoughts power and I fully love and accept myself.
Take a deep breath in.
And out.
Okay,
That is the end of this EFT tapping meditation for obsessive thinking.
If you want,
You can go ahead and regrade yourself from a one through 10.
10 being the most power and energy you had towards your obsessive thinking.
And you can just see if your number went down at all.
When your number is a four or below,
That's usually really great.
That means that you took a lot of the charge out of the thought or the feeling that you were having.
And if it just went down at all,
That's also very positive.
And remember,
You can come back and do this meditation again whenever you need to.
And you can even do it daily if you're really working on getting rid of an obsessive thought loop that you have been having over and over again.
I want to thank you so much for listening today and I hope you have a great rest of your day.
