And I want to welcome you to top with me today for this I Am Present EFT,
TFT tapping meditation.
TFT stands for Thought Field Therapy and we are basically focusing on our thoughts while we tap and EFT tapping is slightly different because it stands for emotional freedom technique and we are not only just tapping but we are saying phrases and solving a problem as we speak.
So we're going to combine the two together today and this should feel very powerful and it should allow you to be very present.
So just follow along as I tell you to tap and we will get started.
So just get comfortable either sitting up or lying down and we are going to begin with Thought Field Therapy,
TFT tapping and we are just going to start by thinking about anything that's not allowing you to be present in this meditation right now.
Bring that into your thought field and as you're doing that I want you to start tapping on the side of your hand in the area right in between the bottom of your pinky finger and your wrist and begin tapping and we're going to take three intentional breaths and on each breath out I want you to imagine those thoughts not allowing you to be present to leave your mind and leave your body.
So go ahead and take a deep breath in and let it all out.
Another breath in and out and one last big breath in and out.
Okay you can stop tapping on the side of your hand right now.
We're going to take one intentional breath without the tapping so go ahead and take a deep breath in and out.
Now we're going to go into some EFT tapping to allow us to keep in that present moment.
Go ahead and start tapping on that point on the side of your hand again but this time I'm going to say some phrases along with our tapping and we are also going to be moving to different tapping points so just pay attention to that and all you have to do is either feel the words that I say or say them aloud after me.
So begin tapping at that point again on the side of your hand.
I know that I don't always feel present but I fully love and accept myself.
I know that getting to the present moment can be hard for me at times but I fully love and accept myself.
I know that I can get to a place where I am present and I fully love and accept myself.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Start tapping at your eyebrow.
I allow myself to feel present right now.
Now on the side of your eye,
I allow myself to be in the moment.
Under your eye,
I allow myself to observe my surroundings.
Under your nose,
I allow myself to pay more attention.
Under your mouth,
I allow myself to see all the little things around me.
Now at your collarbone,
I allow myself to be grateful for all that I have right now.
Under your armpit,
I release anything not allowing me to be present right now.
Now on the top of your head,
I release any energy not allowing me to feel present to flow out of my body.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Start tapping again at your eyebrow.
Being present in my life feels so good.
Now on the side of your eye,
Being present allows me to really live.
Now under your eye,
Being present allows me to savor every moment.
Under your nose,
To not just look towards the weekend or certain events that I have going on.
Under your mouth,
Being present allows me to be here now.
Collarbone,
No matter what is going on in my life.
Under your armpit,
Being present allows me to fully live every second of my beautiful life.
Now on the top of your head,
I am present and I fully love and accept myself.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Now we are going to do that TFT tapping section we did at the beginning of this meditation one more time before we end.
So go ahead and bring into your thought field again anything that maybe came up as we were tapping,
Anything still lingering in your mind,
Anything not allowing you to be present in this moment right now.
Be aware of those thoughts and we are going to start tapping on the side of our hand one more time.
This time we are going to take five intentional breaths and on every breath out imagine whatever is still lingering,
Whatever is still stopping you from being present,
It's going to leave your mind and leave your body.
So go ahead and take your first big breath in and out and in and out and in and out.
And another breath in and out.
And one more big breath in and out.
Okay,
You can stop tapping now.
