Welcome to your EFT tapping meditation,
Helping you to work through embarrassment.
Maybe recently you've had a moment that was super embarrassing,
A situation or something where another person was involved or a group of people,
And maybe that's something you're going through literally right now.
And this tapping is going to help you work through that because this is something that is totally normal.
So many people will feel embarrassed from time to time.
Everybody will feel embarrassed from time to time,
And it's nothing to hide away and to put somewhere else.
It's simply something that we can recognize that we feel this way,
And that's okay.
That's okay that we feel this way.
It's okay that we did something that felt embarrassing,
And let's really just work through that and get to the other side of that so we're not so stuck in that feeling of just being embarrassed because we don't need to stay there for so long.
We can move past it and we can go on with the rest of our lives.
It is okay that we were embarrassed for whatever reason.
So go ahead and get comfortable,
And we're going to begin by taking a deep breath in and breathe out.
Go ahead and tap on the side of your hand.
And you might also right now,
Before we start anything,
Think about how embarrassed you feel from a one through 10,
10 being the most embarrassed.
And we're going to work on bringing the number down as we tap.
So as you're tapping right now on the side of your hand,
You can either repeat after me or just feel what I say.
Even though I'm embarrassed,
I love and accept myself anyway.
Even though it feels like I won't ever get over this embarrassment,
I love and accept myself anyway.
I know that I can get to a place where I no longer feel this deep embarrassment and I love and accept myself.
Go ahead,
Take a deep breath in and breathe out.
Tap at your eyebrow.
I feel so embarrassed.
Side of your eye.
I can't believe that it happened this way.
Under your eye.
I was not expecting to feel this way.
Under your nose.
And I feel so weird about this whole experience.
Under your mouth.
But I also want to validate this feeling.
Collarbone.
I want to tell myself that I'm allowed to be embarrassed.
Under your armpit.
Because what I experienced was embarrassing to me.
Top of the head.
And it's okay to feel this way.
Take a deep breath in and breathe out.
Tap at your eyebrow.
I feel like I want to hide.
Side of your eye.
And I don't want to have to confront this again.
Under your eye.
Things like this seem to happen to me a lot.
Under your nose.
And I hate dealing with the aftermath of these embarrassing feelings.
Under your mouth.
I just continue to feel embarrassed long after the event.
Collarbone.
I get so worried about what others will say.
Under your armpit.
And I'm honestly too hard on myself.
Top of the head.
And I need to stop doing that to myself.
Go ahead.
Take a deep breath in.
And breathe out.
Tap at your eyebrow.
What if I just let myself feel embarrassed?
Side of your eye.
What if I knew that what I was embarrassed about wasn't that big of a deal?
Under your eye.
And if anyone makes it a big deal,
Then maybe I need to look at who I surround myself with.
Under your nose.
What if I knew that being embarrassed at times was normal?
Under your mouth.
What if I knew everyone experiences embarrassment?
Collarbone.
What if I knew that I didn't have to feel embarrassed forever?
Under your armpit.
What if I knew this embarrassment would pass?
Top of the head.
What if I stopped putting so much pressure on myself?
Take a deep breath in.
And breathe out.
Eyebrow.
I'm starting to feel the charge of this embarrassment lift.
Side of your eye.
Everyone gets embarrassed from time to time.
Under your eye.
And that's okay.
Under your nose.
I no longer want to be so hard on myself.
Under your mouth.
It's not helpful to me.
Collarbone.
When I do that,
I am invalidating my experience and emotions.
Under your armpit.
And I refuse to do that anymore.
Top of the head.
I am human and it's okay to feel.
Go ahead.
Take a deep breath in.
And breathe out.
Tap at your eyebrow.
Embarrassment can happen.
Side of your eye.
I can give space to those feelings and then let them go.
Under your eye.
I can continue on with my life.
Under your nose.
Not having to sit in that embarrassment for long.
Under your mouth.
I'm no longer going to be hard on myself for having feelings.
Collarbone.
It's okay to feel embarrassed at times.
Under your armpit.
But I don't need to let that take over.
Top of the head.
I will no longer let embarrassment control me.
And I fully love and accept myself.
Go ahead.
Take a deep breath in.
And breathe out.
Okay.
That is the end of our tapping today on embarrassment.
If you want to go ahead and regrade that embarrassment that you are starting with today from a one through ten,
Ten being the most embarrassed,
See if your number went down.
See how you feel now.
See if you allowed yourself to feel that embarrassment and let it go a little bit.
Maybe it's not completely gone right now.
Maybe it's still there,
But maybe you don't feel the full charge of it.
And that is really the point of our tapping today.
To continue on with your life instead of just feeling so deep in that embarrassment that maybe things are hard to go on with right now.
It's hard to continue on with the normal things you are going to do.
So hopefully that went down for you.
And if it didn't,
You can always repeat this if needed.
And I want to thank you so much for listening today and I hope you have a great rest of your day.
