Hello,
Welcome to this sacred space.
My name is Nicole and I'm very happy to be guiding this practice for you.
Today's meditation is focused on self-love.
If this is your first meditation,
Don't worry,
I will guide you throughout this practice.
Simply follow my voice.
Now find a quiet place where nothing will interrupt you for the next few minutes.
Begin by adopting a comfortable position.
Preferably seated on a chair or a cushion that allows your spine to be upright yet relaxed.
Softly let your shoulders drop releasing any tension and rest your hands gently on your lap.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Now close your eyes.
Bring your attention to your breath.
Remember,
Your breath is your anchor to the present moment.
Your breathing releases the tension accumulated in your muscles.
Caused by stress and anxiety.
Take one deep breath in four counts.
Inhale one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Perfect.
Now breathe out your own natural rhythm.
Try to clear your mind.
If your mind becomes distracted by a thought,
Simply become aware of it.
Observe it.
Do not judge it or reject it and gently return your attention to your breath.
Remember that your breath is your anchor.
Visualize your thoughts as clouds in the sky.
They come and then go.
Thoughts arrive and just as they arrive,
They leave.
In the next few minutes,
Your mind will remain anchored to the present moment.
Forgetting about the past and the future.
Relax your abdomen,
Allowing it to expand instead of your chest.
Visualize how,
With every exhalation,
You release stress,
Worries,
Anguish,
Sadness and anxiety.
Become aware of how the weight of your body rests on the floor,
The chair or the bed.
Connect with every part of your body and relax it.
Now,
Identify one specific area where you feel tension and gently release it.
Now allow yourself to reflect.
What is self-love?
Self-love is becoming aware of the magic of my own existence.
It is accepting myself,
Loving myself,
Valuing myself and respecting myself exactly as I am.
Because I understand that just as I am,
I'm perfect.
Self-love is loving myself unconditionally and understanding that I need both of my light and my shadow to learn,
To expand,
To transform my life.
It is understanding that loving myself is a process,
Not a destination.
It is a decision I make every single day of my life.
It is the rise and fall of feelings,
Emotions and challenges that appear constantly in different ways.
It is the way I perceive myself.
It is the dialogue I maintain within myself.
It is the story I tell myself all the time.
It is being faithful to my essence,
My authenticity,
My intuition,
My passion and my deepest desires.
It is believing in myself even when no one else believes in me.
Self-love is honoring my process.
It's being compassionate with myself and having patience because I understand that I'm constantly learning from life.
And even more importantly,
From myself.
I learn in order to evolve.
Loving myself is freeing myself from chains,
Judgments or labels that others or I,
Myself,
Have imposed on me.
Loving myself is forgiving myself for who I was or what I did in the past.
It is releasing guilt because I understand that everything happened in the perfect time and in the perfect way.
And it could not have happened any other way.
Loving myself is accepting and taking responsibility for my happiness because my happiness depends only on me.
Nothing and no one can make me happy because only I know what makes me feel good and what makes my soul vibrate.
Self-love is nourishing my mind,
Body and soul.
It is learning to flow and to trust my own power.
Now,
Think of an intention for today's practice.
Repeat it silently in your mind.
What do you need to remember,
Work on,
Maybe forgive,
Release or let go in your life?
Inhale deeply and exhale slowly.
Now,
Visualize yourself standing in front of your younger self.
When you were about 6 years old and placed yourself at their same height.
Look deeply into their eyes and tell them everything you would have liked to hear at that age.
That now,
As an adult,
You feel you need to say.
What would you tell them?
Visualize this moment.
Now,
Make this promise to them.
I promise that I will take care of you.
I promise that I will love you and accept you exactly as you are.
I will not try to change you because just as you are,
You are perfect.
I promise that I will respect and value you like never before.
I will speak to you with love and stop saying words to you that I will never say to someone I love.
I promise that I will take care of everything that enters your mind,
Your body and your soul.
I want you to know that simply by existing,
You are being full of love and abundance and you are already enough.
You don't need to prove anything to anyone anymore.
I promise that I will not allow anything or anyone to cross your boundaries.
Remember that your happiness lives within you and depends on you,
Only on you.
You have everything,
Everything you need to be happy,
Value it and be grateful for it.
Also,
I want to tell you that you are not your beliefs or the labels that society tries to place on you.
You are you and that's your superpower.
Believe in yourself.
I promise that I will guide you on the path of your highest good.
And I want you to know don't be afraid because I will always be here for you.
Forgive yourself.
Do not carry guilt of any kind.
Everything is perfect,
Just the way it needs to be,
No more,
No less.
Trust and follow your intuition.
I know that you will always do the best you can with what you have and that's enough.
Remember,
You came to this life to be happy,
To leave your purpose in complete authenticity.
Do not get frustrated if you stumble or even fall along the way.
It is part of the journey and it will not last forever.
Everything is temporary,
It exists so you can learn and so next time you try you will know how to do it better.
Really my love,
Forgive yourself,
Be patient and be compassionate with yourself.
Because I always be.
I promise to remind you that even now with what you have in the present it is already enough to be happy.
There is no need to be or do things perfectly.
If in the end you are not enjoying the journey,
I promise to remind you how incredible you are.
Why you are here and the power you have to transform your entire life into true magic.
Hug that little girl or that little boy tightly and then with a gentle smile let them go and exhale.
And slowly begin to return to the present moment.
And once you feel ready,
Open your eyes gently,
Take your time.
At the end of your practice,
Write down how you felt,
Allow your thoughts and emotions to flow.
Let them come,
Allow yourself to feel them and then let them go.
You will realize many things you were not aware of before.
Remember,
Self-love is different for every person.
We are individual beings with different needs and goals.
I recommend that you create your own definition of self-love,
One that resonates with you and makes your soul vibrate.
Thank you for allowing me to guide you in this practice.
I will see you in the next sessions.
Namaste
