Hello,

My name is Niev.

I welcome you to this Yoga Nidra for intention and vision.

During this practice we move through the layers of consciousness to access your innate wisdom,

The one who knows.

You can think of this wakeful sleep as an awakening to your visionary power within,

A power that knows what you need.

And this just happens to deeply relax you along the way.

So if you do fall asleep,

That is okay.

Your subconsciousness is still listening.

Awareness is effortlessly wakeful to all that is arising simultaneously,

Even while in deep rest.

So first create your space where you will not be subject to distraction or disruption,

Such as switching off your phone,

Perhaps close a door if in a shared household.

You might like to draw the curtains or place an eye covering on and then lay down or sit in a seated position that is comfortable,

Using cushions,

Blankets if you need.

And as you allow all movement to dissolve into stillness,

I invite you now to journey inward with my voice,

Closing the eyes,

Soften behind your eyes and begin scanning inside the body,

Behind the eyes,

Temples,

Jaws,

Scanning for any unknown forms of tension,

Perhaps inside the throat,

Neck.

Notice what you feel,

Allowing awareness to seep like water down inside your shoulders,

Arms,

Hands,

Down the back,

The spine,

The sacrum.

Notice where you may be holding onto any tension in the body or is tension holding you just notice,

Continue seeping awareness down through the chest,

The belly,

Pelvis,

Inside the hips and down both legs and feet.

Sometimes awareness of tension itself can be enough to let go,

To soften like a watery tranquility spreading through all the over layers of skin,

Bone,

Matter.

And now untethering from the mind's activity,

Dropping down into the belly,

Become aware of the belly breathing,

Noticing as you breathe in,

Belly rises,

As you breathe out,

Belly falls,

Like lapping water.

And begin to count rise and the fall of your belly backwards from 12 to 0 as your belly rises and then falls,

Belly rises,

Falls,

Rises,

Falls,

10,

9,

8,

7,

7,

Continue to 0.

Release now,

Noticing the natural rhythms,

Listening to the waking of subtle sensations while listening to my voice,

Sensing the back of the body held by the fertile earth where seeds spark and give life and light for nourishment and growth.

Sensing the back of the body,

The whole back body giving way into the fertile earth below.

Follow my voice to rotate awareness through the body,

Feeling sensation inside the mouth,

Inside the mouth,

Tongue,

Upper palate,

Lower palate,

Upper lip,

Lower lip,

Inside and behind the right cheek,

The left cheek,

Both ears,

Sensations inside both ears.

Listening with feeling awareness,

Become aware of the airflow inside the nostrils,

Air flowing in and out,

Awareness behind the eyes,

Deep inside the eyes,

Allowing the eyes to sink deep into the sockets.

See with feeling awareness,

The eyebrow center in between the eyebrows,

Sensing space and now the crown,

Sensing the back of the head,

The back of the head and just below the occipital bone and throat center,

Space inside the throat and now entering the center of the chest,

Space inside the chest,

Welcoming feeling sensation of the subtle heart,

Heart,

Listening to the subtle echoes of the heart as you word a distant sound,

Can you sense your most cherished need or what it means to you to be sheltered,

Nurtured,

Loved or can you sense what it means to be free or to be seen,

How might that look,

Allow your inner landscape of color,

Texture to arise perhaps in the form of symbology,

Welcome your deepest yearnings of your heart's wishes to whisper to you,

Noticing all that arises,

Could you sense an intention from this inner landscape,

In wakeful sleep intention is known as a sankalpa which is like a seed that once sparked,

Its innate wisdom translates through its blossoming,

Where expressions of fragrance and color take form,

What expressions of your innate wisdom can you sense and how might you like that to reflect in your life,

That might translate to something like I'm grateful for being loved or I honor my freedom or I trust myself,

I trust life or I am abundant,

Radiant and beauty,

If your pure intention has not yet transpired you might like to bask in the words I am relaxed,

Healthy and whole,

Whispering to your heart three times,

I am relaxed,

Healthy and whole,

I'm now continuing to rotate awareness through the body from the center of your heart to the right side of the chest,

Shoulder,

Upper arm,

Elbow,

Elbow,

Lower arm,

Wrist,

Palm of the hand,

Thumb,

Finger,

Second finger,

Third and little finger,

Back of the hand,

Lower arm,

Elbow,

Crease,

Underarm,

Shoulder blade,

The whole right arm vibrating with sensations of your intention and vision,

Heart center,

Right side of the torso,

Hip and pelvis,

Down and inside the right thigh,

Knee,

Lower leg,

Ankle,

Foot,

Big toe,

Second,

Third,

Fourth,

Fifth toe,

Sole of the foot,

Heel of the foot,

The whole right leg,

The whole right leg,

All cells of the right leg vibrating,

The pulse of your intention,

The whole right side of the body and the right hemisphere of the brain enlivening with sensations,

Again settling awareness to the center of your heart,

Left side of the chest,

Shoulder,

Upper arm,

Elbow,

Wrist,

Palm of the hand,

Thumb,

Thumb,

First finger,

Second,

Third and little finger,

Back of the hand,

Lower arm,

Elbow,

Crease,

Underarm,

Shoulder blade,

The whole left arm buzzing with sensations of your intention and vision,

Heart center,

Left torso,

Hip and pelvis,

Down inside the left thigh,

Knee,

Lower leg,

Ankle,

Foot,

Big toe,

Second,

Third,

Fourth,

Fifth toe,

Sole of the foot,

Heel of the foot,

Lower leg vibrating,

The pulse of your intention,

The whole left body and left hemisphere enlivening with sensations of your true calling,

Now the whole back body and the whole front body and both hemispheres of the brain vibrating,

Infusing the space inside you,

Infusing your breath,

Infusing the space outside of you,

Noticing the natural rhythms of your breath,

The undulation in and out,

The emptying and filling,

Could you imagine resting your breath on your heart center,

Effortlessly breathing in and out of your heart,

A gentle watery breath,

Breathing your intention in,

Breathing your intention out and could you welcome your breath into your heart through the back body and into earth beneath,

Welcoming your breath out through the surface of your chest,

Effortless breath into the earth and out through the heart,

Into the earth,

Out through the heart and might you welcome imagining your breath into the black fertile soil of the earth and then out from this energetic molten reservoir,

A bright golden light,

Breathing into darkness and breathing out golden light,

Could you rest your breath now on the center of your forehead,

Again effortless breath in and out of the eyebrow center,

Breathing into the center of the brain,

Into the pineal gland,

Breathing out eyebrow center,

Could you imagine breathing in darkness,

Breathing out a glowing light,

Release this,

Could you welcome now resistance in the body as a feeling sensation and now welcome receptivity in the body,

Openness,

Feeling sensation,

Again resistance and receptivity,

Can you sense your body filling with black space,

Filling all the corners with black space,

Now sensing light flooding in your body,

A glowing light,

Your essential light,

Again filling all corners in the globe of your body with black volcanic coal,

Sensing the body heavy heavy and your essential light again beaming through the whole body,

Full of light,

The whole body full of light,

Sensing the whole left side of the body a glowing light while simultaneously the right body filling with black matter,

Maybe the right body feels heavy as the left body becomes lighter,

Now sensing the whole right side of the body,

A glowing light ascending,

Simultaneously the left body descending filled with black matter,

Sensing the whole body full of light lifting,

Lifting off the earth,

Lifting and now the whole body lifting,

Floating in deep dark space and could you welcome now a visual rotation of a black sky,

The sun at dawn,

The lush rainforest,

The sun's rays shining through,

Your bare feet on the earth and grass in between your toes,

A flourishing waterfall,

Crackling fire,

A purring cat,

A purring cat,

A deserted beach,

The ocean swell,

An endless horizon,

The cosmic street expanding into deep space,

Nebula floating,

Starlit seeds,

Your seed of light swathed in darkness expands in deep space,

Expanding more into deep space,

Welcoming bliss pervading you,

Relaxing back in deep rest,

Could you recall your sankalpa and whisper to your heart three times,

Allowing your sankalpa to vibrate throughout your energetic field and throughout the space around you,

Sensing space in between the back of the body and the earth below,

Sensing the physical outline of your body,

Your body touching the ground,

Feeling the ground beneath you,

Feeling your body resting,

Sensing the space around you,

Taking in a few breaths,

Gently breathing in through your nostrils and releasing a long lazy breath out through your mouth,

Another one in,

Filling your body with essential light and breath out,

Let's do one more breath in,

Maybe you can stretch your arms over your head,

Stretch your legs,

Point your toes,

Curling the toes and the fingers and gently opening your eyes,

Sensation,
