A lot of the times when our boundaries feel overwhelmed or our nervous systems are supercharged in a certain way,
Sitting down to meditate and potentially do a boundary or visualization exercise might feel like actually the last thing that we want to do.
And so this meditation is meant to be short in nature and can be repeated multiple times as you attempt to set these boundaries.
So take a second and let yourself just focus internally.
Notice the inhale and the exhale.
And begin to visualize that with every exhale you are letting go of the energy,
Emotions,
Thoughts or sensations that do not belong to you.
With every exhale,
Whether that is forceful in nature or long,
Slow,
And deliberate,
You release what is not yours to carry.
Not having to think about or label or name who it belongs to,
But just as you exhale,
Feeling these things be released.
And then,
From that position,
You visualize a boundary,
A bubble of protection around you.
And with this bubble of protection,
You bring that bubble within the distance that feels just right for you.
Neither too close nor too far away.
And with just the right amount of force to it,
To withstand what others are thinking,
Feeling,
Or just experiencing.
And as you visualize that bubble,
Now fill that bubble up with your own life force.
Allowing that life force to just permeate every area of that bubble.
You can work with this visualization and this intention as many times as you would like,
But keeping it short and sweet and to the point as you hold your life energy in that bubble.
And once that image and that experience feels as complete as it could possibly be,
Allowing yourself to take a nice,
Deep inhale,
And slowly exhaling,
Allowing this meditation to come to a close.
