This meditation will work with breath and centering, and lead in to visualizations. Meander in a forest, safe and one with nature. Stroll along a creek, and release what no longer serves you. Find some peace, and take some time to unwind in the woods.

Welcome to your meditation practice.

I'm so glad you're here.

Today we're going to be taking a stroll through the forest.

But before we get there,

Let's get our bodies settled here.

Taking this time to investigate the body with curiosity to see if there's any spot that needs to be stretched or breathed into before beginning.

Taking the time now to nourish the body,

How it needs.

So that we feel that we can be in stillness.

And when you're ready,

Choosing either a seated or laying down position.

If you are seated,

You may wish to have a pillow underneath the hips.

If you're laying down,

You may want to have a pillow just underneath the head or underneath the knees.

And preparing the body for rest and relaxation.

When we feel we are committed with intention to be in stillness.

I invite you to take a deep breath in.

Exhaling with a sigh.

If you're good to do so,

Exhale with another sigh.

When you're settling into stillness,

Allow the breath to flow with ease.

Being aware of the breath as it passes in your nostrils.

And then,

Bring in the breathing of the air when you gently exhale.

Bringing your awareness to your whole head as the breath enters and exits.

And bringing your awareness to the third eye.

The space in the middle of the eyebrows.

Begin to see yourself in a forest.

The ocean green.

Layers of green.

Different vibrancy.

Different shades.

The familiar textures of the foliage.

The many shapes of the leaves.

And seeing a few birds as they fly and sing.

You hear a creek.

And begin to wander alongside it.

The creek appears stronger and stronger as you wander along.

And as you wander,

You begin to feel guided.

That there is a message waiting for you.

You see a tree up ahead.

And you know with such certainty in your heart that this tree is going to be the messenger.

That whatever you're needing to hear or know will find you.

And as you make your way towards this tree,

You offer your hands.

You offer your hands to this tree for this message.

And as this little leaf falls towards the ground,

You know that the message you need will be written on that leaf.

As it slowly spins into your hand.

And you now see that message so clearly.

And you place your hands with that leaf onto your heart.

Knowing that that message is always there.

That you are always loved and you are always safe.

And slowly,

The forest begins to fade.

Until all that remains are the sounds.

Knowing that we can always come back to this place.

We may get pressures from the outside world.

Sometimes things may feel chaotic.

But there's a place inside each and every one of us that remains unchanged,

Safe,

And wise.

Bringing to mind something that you hold immense gratitude for.

And holding that gratitude in your heart.

And as the eyes still close,

Rub the hands together,

Creating some warmth.

And place your hands over your heart.

Sealing in that gratitude.

And then rubbing the hands together again,

Creating some heat.

Placing the hands either over the heart,

Belly,

Or eyes.

And when it feels good to do so,

Gently blinking the eyes open.

And taking nice deep breaths.

As we slowly come back to this world.

Thank you so much for joining me for your meditation practice today.

Namaste.
