So today's meditation is going to be a guided visualization that will allow you to embrace and accept yourself fully without judgment.

Before we begin,

Find a place where you can be free from distraction and quiet for the duration of your meditation.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,

Drawing the breath all the way down to the very bottom of your belly,

Feeling as it expands.

And when you're ready,

Release the breath slowly through your mouth,

Breathing at your own natural rhythm,

Encouraging each breath to be drawn in a little bit slower,

A little bit deeper each time.

Breathing in and allowing the breath to clear your mind and calm your body,

Exhaling and letting go of any stress,

Letting go of any tension,

Letting go of anything that might be weighing upon your mind.

Each breath bringing you further and further into a state of silent stillness,

Feeling as your muscles release the tension,

Becoming aware of the sensations in and around you.

As any thoughts come to mind,

Acknowledge and accept those thoughts and allow them to pass through and be released with your breath.

As you continue to breathe and vision in your mind's eye,

Yourself as a small child standing before you.

Allow yourself to see the innocence and the wonder that this child possesses.

Noticing that this child is in the process of learning and adapting to the environment around it.

That while this child may make mistakes,

It is still a wonderful and miraculous being.

That every bump improves along the way of development as part of the process and this child is still valuable and precious in and of itself.

The world contains unconditional love,

Unconditional understanding for this child.

That there is always going to be a learning curve and that's okay.

For when they stumble,

When they don't get it quite right,

Their actions are met with a loving understanding and compassion.

Teaching them that there is always another day.

Teaching them that every experience,

Both positive and negative,

Are the building blocks of each lesson that we learn.

Seeing this child standing before us,

Acknowledging each of the emotional states that this child experiences and we allow the child to be where they are without judgment,

Without consequence.

Helping them to understand that how they feel is okay,

That feelings are temporary and they will pass.

And you hold the child's hand,

Offering it comfort and understanding.

Now envision yourself guiding this child into a room that is full of all of the things that bring you comfort.

A safe place.

It may have oversized couches,

Bean bag chairs,

Warm blankets,

Comfy pillows,

A room full of comfort,

Coziness and safety.

And as you stand in this room,

Holding the child's hand,

They intuitively know that when they are frightened,

When they are emotionally overwhelmed,

When they are angry or upset,

That they can retreat to this comfy,

Cozy,

Safe room and simply allow themselves to be experiencing comfort,

Experiencing the grace that the world has to offer them.

This room is always available for the child whenever they need it,

Whenever things begin to feel like they're simply too much.

They can lay down,

Curl into a comfy ball,

Cover themselves with blankets and pillows,

And simply allow themselves to be right where they're at.

With the child standing before you,

You gently let go of the child's hand and you exit the room and walk slowly away,

Noticing that there is another door to another room.

Then you open the door and you see another room that is full of everything comforting.

There are places to sit,

To curl up and get cozy.

Everything that you find comforting exists within this room and this room is always available to you,

The safe space,

Whenever you need it.

Just as the child has their room always available to them,

You have your own comfortable,

Cozy,

Safe space always available to you where you can sit and allow yourself to simply be right where you are without judgment,

With a kind understanding and compassion.

Seeing that everything that provides you comfort exists within this safe,

Comforting room.

Take a deep breath and gently wiggle your fingers and toes,

Bringing awareness back into your body.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

I hope that you've enjoyed today's meditation and you can always turn to it anytime where you feel like maybe your expectations don't align with reality or you might be struggling to allow yourself to be right where you are.

Remember that during these times,

You're allowed extra grace,

You're allowed extra understanding,

You're allowed to be human.

Thank you so much for joining me today.

Stay healthy,

Safe and have a wonderful day.

Namaste.

Lovely words of comfort, excellent delivery, I felt this could be expanded for another 5 mins of grace and ease as we come back to reality.
