So today's meditation is going to be just a simple breathing exercise that you can use at any time,

Any place where you can step away for a few moments.

It will allow you to become more centered and let go of any stress or tension you might be carrying along with you day to day.

Before we begin,

Find a place where you can be quiet and free from distraction for the duration of your meditation.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,

Drying your breath all the way down to the very bottom of your belly as it expands.

And when you're ready,

Release the breath through your mouth,

Allowing yourself to breathe at your own perfect pace,

Encouraging each breath to be drawn in a little bit deeper,

To become a little bit slower.

As you inhale,

Allow the breath to wash through your mind and relax your body.

And as you exhale,

Give yourself permission to let go of any thoughts,

Let go of any worries,

Release any tension that you might be carrying within your body,

Becoming more and more aware of each sensation of your breath.

Inhaling and bringing the breath down,

Down,

Down.

Exhaling and feeling the warmth of your breath as it passes your lips,

Feeling the way your clothing shifts upon your body as you breathe in and you breathe out.

Breathing with your entire body,

Feeling each sensation as you inhale,

And each sensation as you exhale.

Each breath bringing you deeper and deeper into a state of silent stillness,

Both within your mind and within your body.

If any thoughts come to the surface,

Simply acknowledge them and allow them to pass,

Being free from attachment,

Allowing yourself to completely detach from any thoughts,

Any sensations that you experience,

And observing them as they pass through.

Inhaling,

Really feeling your breath,

Becoming more relaxed,

Becoming more and more still.

Each breath you take,

You become more open to feelings of peace,

Of ease,

Of calm.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Take a deep breath and gently wiggle your fingers and toes,

Move your shoulders back and forth,

Up and down,

Bringing awareness back into your body.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

I hope that you've enjoyed today's meditation.

I really can't stress the importance enough of keeping things simple during these times.

And really,

Any time for that matter,

When we can keep things simple,

Life just seems to flow on its own.

I hope that you're staying healthy,

Happy,

And thank you so much for joining me today.

Have a wonderful day.

Namaste.

I really enjoyed the slow, soothing voice during the meditation. For me, however, the conversational, faster voice after the ending chime pulled me out of the calm, quiet flow state. Next time I meditate with this track I will stop at that chime.
