Restful Heart Intuition Meditation.

This is a helpful meditation which will help you to empower your intuition by connecting back to the heart.

In our everyday lives,

We get caught up in our problems and try to find a solution which is all mental.

When we tap into our heart,

It allows you to become more open into that inner knowing.

It can be helpful to practice this while you're resting.

When we go into a deep sleep,

You're tapping into your healing powers.

It enables you to recharge and recondition your mind to think positively.

We're going to be exploring inner signals of the body,

The sensory pathways,

Hearing,

Smell,

Seeing,

Feeling,

The messages our body tells us which are often ignored.

When we're in a heightened state,

By finding breathing space can help to enhance these hidden messages,

To decode them.

But don't worry if you don't have anything right now.

When you're resting and find space helps to strengthen the intuitive signal.

This practice will take roughly about seven to eight minutes.

Finding a comfortable position that feels right for you.

Closing your eyes whenever you're ready.

Settling into your awareness connected to the earth.

As you breathe in and as you breathe out.

Imagine your body,

Imagine your body like a bright light radiating out to the corners of the room.

A place of safety.

As you breathe,

Feel your belly expand as you breathe in.

As you breathe out,

Feel your belly contract as you breathe out.

Feeling the belly rise as you breathe in and belly fall as you breathe out.

And belly fall as you breathe out.

As we're sitting here you might become aware of any areas of discomfort within the body.

Seeing if you can send some softening there as you breathe deeply.

Softening any areas of the body if you need to.

And if you don't,

That's okay.

If you find your mind wandering,

Just gently,

Compassionately bringing it back to the breath.

As we settle,

As we begin to settle,

Welcome your intuition to enter.

Our intuition is activated by practicing regularly.

To open up the channels to your inner knowing inside of ourselves.

It's part of your inner knowing,

The wise sage within you.

You might like to think of it as an inner child trying to surface to give you the guidance on your path.

You might like to think of a question that you need to answer to.

But don't worry if it doesn't surface here.

It can come through any time.

When you least expect it.

Just allow whatever it is to come through and welcome it.

You have a spirit inside of you and it's full of possibilities.

When you're able to harness it and tap into it.

If it feels comfortable to do so,

You might like to place your hand over your heart.

One or both hands.

Noticing what that gesture feels like.

You can leave your hand there if you'd like to,

As long as you wish.

Imagine as you breathe into your heart space.

Your heart breathing and feeling connected to breathing.

The breath slow and deeply.

Imagine the air leaving and entering through the heart area.

You might like to think of a phrase,

A word that is empowering for you.

It might be,

You've got this.

It might be,

You've got this.

I believe in everything you do.

But think of anything that works for you.

As you connect to your heart space,

It might be helpful to ask,

What's the inner knowing inside of you trying to tell you?

And you might like to pause here for a while.

Just pondering and reflecting over that question.

As we go through the practice,

I'm going to invite you to pay warm-hearted attention to areas in your body.

Receiving any intuitive messages.

What does your heart need to know?

Feeling into sensations around the areas.

Around the area of the left eye.

Around the area of the left eye.

Now shifting your focus to the right eye.

And if they're both closed,

Maybe feeling the eyelashes touching each other.

And noticing what's happening right now.

What can you see?

Now focusing between the two eyebrows,

Through your mind's eye.

What can you see?

Now sensing into the sensations in your nostrils.

And moving over to the right side of the nostril.

The left side.

Is there anything outside of your body?

What can you smell?

As I sit here I can smell a candle,

Just lit.

What can you smell?

Associated with our sense of smell is the sense of taste.

Perhaps noticing anything already there.

Perhaps something lingering.

A feeling sense.

What can you taste?

And letting go.

On your next out breath.

Letting go of that sense of awareness,

Of taste.

And taking your attention to the sense of hearing.

Is there anything you can hear in the same room?

Or maybe just widening your senses.

What can you hear?

Now letting go of hearing.

And bringing your awareness to the sense of touch.

What can you feel right now?

Or maybe that's soon to be.

Now feeling the whole of your body connected down through your body.

The whole of your body connected down through your neck.

Your arms.

Your hands.

Down to your back.

To your hands.

Down your legs.

Feet.

Toes.

The whole of your body connected to the earth.

Each part of your body interconnected.

Feeling the breath as it comes and goes.

In and out of your body.

A sense of stillness.

Spaciousness.

Consciousness.

Feeling into the bones.

Ligaments.

To your right knee.

To the kneecap.

The front of the knee.

And then deep into the knee joint.

What can you feel?

Now drawing your attention to the sensations.

The messages.

What is your body telling you?

Listening to the messages inside of your body.

With an open mind and an open heart.

What is it telling you?

Opening up your pathways to receive sound.

And noticing any sensations you feel.

The inner knowing is inside like a navigation system in a car.

Trust it.

Encourage it.

Reminding you have these hunches all the time.

We open up to our heart.

Now choosing to settle here.

And then opening your eyes whenever you're ready.

Or continue to stay here.

With peacefulness.

Stillness.
