Standing practice.

This is a practice you can do any time during the day.

It helps to relieve stress and overwhelm,

And provide stability in the present moment.

The practice will take between 2-3 minutes.

Finding a comfortable position that feels right for you.

Closing your eyes if that feels right or dropping your gaze.

Beginning to draw your attention to your breath as you inhale and exhale.

Become aware of how you're feeling right now.

Tuning into how you're feeling.

How the body is feeling today.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Inhaling and exhaling.

As you breathe in your belly expands,

As you breathe out your belly falls.

I'd like you to imagine a tree.

Autumn leaves.

The colour of the leaves.

The one of the leaves detaches from the branch and softly floats down.

Landing on the ground.

And that's what we're doing right now.

We're softly coming down and landing once more.

Having a sense of that in your body.

As you come back to yourself once more.

Being with the heart,

The body and the mind in this moment.

Now as we come to the end of the practice drawing your attention back to your breath,

Noticing any changes of breathing and whenever you're ready opening your eyes.

Have a nice day.
