Landing practice.

Before we get started today,

Getting anything that you need,

So that might be a blanket to support your lower back.

Now finding a comfortable position that feels right for you,

Perhaps closing your eyes or dropping your gaze and starting the practice with tuning into how you're feeling in this present moment.

Drawing your attention to your breath as you breathe in and breathe out,

Noticing how the body is feeling in this moment.

Drawing your attention to your breath and letting go of the external world and just focusing on the breathing as it goes in and out of the body.

Feeling your feet landed on the ground,

Any sensations there,

Perhaps feeling hot or cold,

But noticing with a sense of curiosity within the body.

Noticing where your hands have landed,

What does that feel like?

And noticing any sensations there.

Becoming aware if you're holding on to any discomfort or tension in the body and seeing if you can just soften it a little bit,

Perhaps bring in some kindness to that area.

And what does it feel like to do that?

Just welcoming it as best you can.

And perhaps saying it's okay.

And me welcome it as best I can.

As we're coming to the end of the practice,

Drawing your attention back to your breath and noticing if you feel any different to when you started the practice today,

Then whenever you're ready,

Opening your eyes,

Have a lovely day.

Very grounding and I enjoyed the reminders to sense into my body, helping to develop my interoceptive awareness. Thank you 🙏
