Hi,

This is Natalie.

If your mind feels tired,

Overstretched,

Or simply done for the day,

You're exactly where you need to be.

This practice is designed to bring deep rest to an exhausted mind,

Not by forcing it to stop,

But by giving it a place where it can finally let go.

For the next few minutes,

There's nothing you need to manage,

Solve,

Or hold together.

You get to rest now.

Find a comfortable position,

Seated or lying down.

Let your body settle into support.

And when you're ready,

Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.

Take a slow breath in through your nose and exhale softly out of your mouth.

Let the day fall away.

You've arrived.

Let your breath become a gentle anchor.

Inhale softly through your nose and exhale longer through your mouth,

As if you're releasing a weight you've been carrying all day.

Again,

Inhale and exhale slow,

Warm,

Unhurried.

Each exhale sends a message of safety to your nervous system.

Each exhale tells your mind you can rest now.

Feel your shoulders soften,

Your jaw loosen,

Your forehead and eyebrows relax,

Feel your belly release.

Your body is already beginning to shift out of survival mode and into rest and repair.

Often,

When the mind is exhausted,

The body is still bracing,

So we'll help it melt.

Bring awareness to your forehead.

Imagine it smoothing like untouched snow.

Let your eyebrows soften.

The tiny muscles around your eyes,

Your cheeks,

Your temples.

Let your jaw loosen just a little more,

As if the tension is being released.

Let your forehead and eyebrows relax.

Let your jaw loosen just a little bit more.

Let your forehead and eyebrows relax.

Let your jaw loosen just a little bit more.

Let the quiet drift into your body,

Into your breath,

Into your mind.

Stay here for a few breaths,

Warm,

Safe.

Let the cabin become a symbol you can return to whenever your mind needs deep rest again.

Begin to deepen your breath gently.

Feel the warmth in your body.

Notice the space inside your mind softer,

Quieter,

Clearer.

You have given yourself deep rest and it will stay with you long after this ends.

If this practice supported you,

You can come back to it anytime your mind feels overstretched and when you're ready,

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Take a soft breath in and gently open your eyes.

Thank you for spending this time with me,

Sending you calm,

Warmth and steady rest.
