My name is Natalie and welcome to your miracle meditation.
Ensure you're in a comfortable position with a straight spine and when you're ready to gently close your eyes.
Start to observe your breath and as you do so let go of any worries.
Follow the movement of the breath as it enters and exits through the nose.
A gentle exchange between the inner and outer worlds.
Feel the ribcage gently expand and contract.
Long slow inhalations and deep full exhalations.
As you allow the body to really let go.
Take a moment to scan your body.
Letting go of any physical tensions or tightness.
Letting go of any distracting thoughts.
Allow yourself this time and space to surrender and relax.
Feeling a sense of calm and quiet through the mind and body.
Now bring your awareness to the area around your heart space.
Start to focus on the word miracle.
Allow any sensations,
Images,
Feelings or thoughts to come to you.
As much as possible focus on the word miracle.
The body is soft and relaxed.
Focusing on a miracle.
Once again allow any sensation,
Image,
Feeling or thought to come to you.
What does a miracle mean to you?
Perhaps a silent prayer that gets answered.
A birth of a baby.
A beautiful sunset.
A shooting star.
A divine healing.
A connection to spirit.
A dream come true.
An act of faith.
Mother nature.
Freedom from fear.
Life and everything in it.
Maybe there are miracles occurring right now.
Deep within your body.
Deep within your breath.
What miracles have you already received?
Allow any sensation,
Image,
Feeling or thought to come to you.
Bring a sense of ease and flow through the mind and body.
Imagine what miracles are yet to unfold for you.
What miracle do you wish for most?
Really see,
Feel and hold your idea of your miracle wish strongly within you.
Notice the sensations,
The images,
The way it makes you feel.
Rest in the awareness of a miracle.
And as we near the end of this meditation,
Allow the essence of your beautiful miracle wish to rest deep within your heart.
Begin to bring your awareness back into the room.
Back to the physical body.
Back to your breath.
Take a few slow,
Energising breaths.
And as you do so,
I'll end with a brief quote by Marianne Williamson.
In asking for miracles,
We are seeking a practical goal.
A return to inner peace.
We're not asking something outside for us to change.
But for something inside us to change.
We're looking for a softer orientation to life.
And start to move the body gently.
Becoming alert and awake.
And when you're ready to,
Gently open your eyes.
