Natalia explores the essential connection between peace and compassion. True compassion for ourselves and others stems from a state of dynamic peace, which encourages growth and deeper understanding. This peace allows us to let go of fear-based behaviors like defensiveness and aggression, and instead embrace kindness, acceptance, and self-nurturing. By cultivating inner peace, we open the door to compassion, joy, and love, essential for navigating the rapid changes in our world. Join us in this journey to find and maintain this empowering state of being.

My loves,

This podcast is called Have Compassion for Yourself.

Now,

There's something very interesting about that,

But we cannot be in a state of compassion for others or for ourselves unless we are in a state of peace first.

So I'm going to talk about peace.

Now,

You know that obviously we're all longing and yearning to be at peace,

But I'm not talking about peace which is passive.

I'm talking about a dynamic peace.

A dynamic peace doesn't eliminate change.

It doesn't eliminate the questions and queries or the expanding of our consciousness.

In fact,

It's rather the opposite.

It encourages us because we have a sense of wellbeing in that state of peace.

And that depth of knowing that if we have a desire to explore and investigate,

Greater and greater knowing will come to us.

So this exploration can be reflected in our minds,

But really it's a state of our hearts.

There are times,

Of course,

When we feel that state of peace is a bit like a bouncing ball up and down.

Now you see me,

Now you don't.

Now you experience me,

Now you don't.

But peace is essential for us.

And what we're doing over these last few years really is letting go any form of defensiveness.

And that's expressed in our resistance,

In aggression,

In assertiveness,

In being obnoxious to other people.

Those are all behaviors which are based in fear.

Don't forget that we've struggled,

We've worked on ourselves,

We've conquered.

And most of all,

We are having victories,

Wonderful victories in finding this middle way,

In finding the way of peace.

So in peace,

Compassion,

Joy,

And love are possible.

Know that they're all possible when you're in peace.

And that's the delight that makes our hearts swing.

Ah,

Swing,

I mean sing.

I'm not going to go and start recording that again because I said swing instead of sing.

Now,

My beloveds,

I've got a request for you.

I want to ask you to have enormous,

Incredible,

Immeasurable compassion for yourself.

Kindness,

Allowing,

Accepting.

Give to yourself not only what you feel you need but what you feel you desire.

That which will help to keep you going,

What you feel you really deserve.

And that's a sense of nurturing,

Of support through self-compassion.

And of course,

That abiding peace.

The basis for the enormous changes taking place on the planet is compassion and peace.

And no peace anywhere in the world comes without it,

Without the compassion for yourself and for another.

Actually,

The truth is we need compassion for the speed at which things are moving.
