Taking a few deep breaths and getting comfortable.
Bringing to mind one habit of self-sabotage that you would like to work on today.
Settling down deeper into yourself.
Following your breath.
Relaxing your body.
Bringing yourself into the present moment.
Connecting into your intuitive wisdom,
Your higher self,
The part of you that possesses the answers you seek.
Traveling to wherever this intuition resides within your body.
Or visualizing a place that you can meet with your higher self.
Feeling safe and peaceful.
Considering now the sabotage pattern that you find yourself stuck in.
When you get close to achieving a particular goal,
Something pops up to stop you.
What is your goal?
Health?
Happiness?
More money?
Better relationships?
Finishing a task at work or around your home?
Sitting with your goal for a moment,
Visualizing it,
Thinking about how your life will be greatly improved once you get there.
Settling down deeper into yourself.
With the help of your inner wisdom,
Asking yourself,
What would be bad about achieving this goal?
What is there to be scared of?
What would change for me that feels different or confronting?
It might be tempting to say that there's nothing in the way,
That you feel completely comfortable achieving this goal,
But see if you can dig a little deeper.
This pattern of self-sabotage is coming from somewhere,
Even if you're not consciously aware of it.
Searching for something that a part of you is scared to let go of,
Experience or face.
Perhaps you're concerned about what others will think of you,
How your family will react,
Or how your communication with others might change.
Maybe you're worried that you'll have to give up a story or a label that you've held onto for a long time.
Maybe you're just not sure if you truly believe that you're worthy or who you'll be once you achieve this goal.
See if you can uncover at least one undesirable consequence to achieving your goal.
Now,
Thinking about the sabotage outcome that occurs every time you get close to achieving your goal.
Maybe you get sick or injured.
Maybe you end up feeling ignored,
Rejected or anxious.
Maybe you have a big expense arrive in your life unexpectedly.
Or perhaps your relationships become tense.
Thinking about all the times in the past that this sabotage pattern has played out,
How every time you've committed yourself to your goal,
Without fail,
Your progress is sabotaged.
You might have been doing this for years,
For a lifetime.
Be gentle with yourself.
Know that this can be resolved.
With the support of your higher self,
Affirming to yourself,
It is safe for me to achieve my goal.
And as you do this,
Listening to see what reasons come up internally to disprove this statement,
It is safe for me to achieve my goal.
Taking note of any reasons that remain within you,
That it is not in fact safe for you to reach your goal.
These reasons may resemble the consequences you uncovered earlier.
Or they may point you to a traumatic event,
An irrational fear or a belief adopted in childhood.
Trusting that these answers are coming from your intuitive wisdom and are leading you on a path towards healing.
Together with your higher self,
Exploring a potential future where you do feel safe achieving your goal.
Visualizing your life as it will be once your goal has been achieved and seeing yourself expanding into a new space of possibility.
Seeing how your life has changed now that this goal has been achieved.
Om.
Om.
Notice your level of self-belief,
Your confidence and your understanding of what is possible in the future.
From this viewpoint where you have completed your goal and released your pattern of self-sabotage,
Looking back and seeing the steps that you took to get here.
Ask your higher self to assist you to clearly see what you needed to do in order to get to this point.
Om.
Perhaps when you look back at the steps you took to overcome this,
You can see that you worked on it with the help of a therapist.
Perhaps when you look back at the steps you took to overcome this,
You can see that you worked on it with the help of a therapist or support person.
Maybe you see yourself meditating every day or receiving a health treatment or perhaps reading a book or journaling.
Take note of all the suggestions that are being presented to you that can help you along this journey.
Om.

Before you complete this practice,
Just inquiring within to see if there's anything within you that's been holding you back that you're ready to let go of.
Om.
Stating to yourself,
As I am opening to the idea of feeling safe to achieve my goal,
I let go of anything that no longer serves me.
That is holding me back so that I may feel safe in everything I do.
Feeling grateful for all of the insight that you have gathered during this session today.
And for the assistance of your inner wisdom.
Bringing everything that you have learnt with you as you come back into your body.
Committing to doing what is necessary to break this habit of sabotage so that your goal can become a reality.
Knowing that you can revisit this practice at any time to explore this further or to work through a different goal.
For now,
Feeling your conscious energy returning to your physical body.
Bringing your focus back to your breath.
And opening your eyes when you're ready.
Om.
Stating to yourself,
As I am opening to the idea of feeling safe to achieve my goal,
I let go of anything that no longer serves me.
