Noticing any tension or sensations in your body and consciously releasing any tightness that you can.
Relaxing your body so that you can rest into this present moment.

Connecting slowly down into your heart space.
Calling all of your consciousness into your heart.
Noticing now that in front of you is a doorway.
You get to decide the design of the door,
The colour,
The style.
Noticing what the door to your safe space looks like.
Noticing that on the other side of this door is a place that you will always be welcome.
A place that you feel at home,
Where you will be in a state of peace.
Noticing a protective glow of light around this door,
Making you feel safe and comfortable.
Knowing that this door will only open for you and anyone you invite through.
When you feel ready,
Opening this door and stepping into your safe space.
This space may be a real location that occurs in the real world.
It could be a memory from a moment in the past.
Or it could be something of your own creation.
A tranquil natural setting.
A luxurious home.
Or a dinner party with your favourite support people.
Just know that your safe space will be perfect for you.
Peering through the doorway if you haven't already and feeling a sense of calmness,
Of connection.
A feeling that you're at home.
