This is a set of daily Buddhist affirmations that I like to use and listen to sometimes or have found helpful in the past.
You may use it as a guided meditation or just as a positive listening experience to help ground down into this present moment and focus on these themes.
My mind is present.
I see distractions as they arise and go.
I am present and focus on those things which are present and now.
Reigning over my reactions,
Understanding them as passing things.
My world,
My inner world,
Is at peace.
I have dominion over this self.
I have dominion over this mind.
I have dominion over my reactions to things that arise,
Be they hatred,
Anger,
Pleasure,
Joy,
Or anything.
I cultivate peace.
I cultivate right mind.
I cultivate right action.
I cultivate right speech.
I cultivate right thought.
I cultivate right concentration.
I cultivate wisdom.
With sound mind and body,
I focus on what is here and now.
In any moment,
I find compassion.
If I ever lose mindfulness,
I swiftly regain it and see what distracted me.
I take a moment before reacting,
Observing the reaction with wisdom,
Seeing it for exactly what it is.
And through this,
I find it easier to be present in this here and now.
I see the exterior as the interior.
I see the interior as the exterior,
All flowing in this present moment.
I free myself from myself.
I free my mind from my mind.
I am free of fear.
I am steadfast.
Nothing can add or subtract to my inner happiness.
I find the light in my own being.
In this very moment,
I know that I have something in me more powerful and miraculous.
I take a higher view of things and bear with them more easily.
I hold myself responsible.
I hold myself accountable for my reactions in this life.
My life is my creation and therefore mine to change,
Mine to improve,
Mine to exalt.
I am steady and constant looking inward.
I seek only to improve my being.
By improving my being,
I improve the world around me.
I act with decorum in a disciplined and reasoned manner.
I slow down and measure my every reaction,
Be balanced and at all cost towards the greatest virtues.
I remember that this day is now,
That this chance of today is presently aware.
Through daily practice,
I establish peace.
Through mindfulness,
I establish discipline and thoughtfulness.
Through meditation,
I establish consistency and depth.
Through compassion,
I establish understanding and wisdom.
In all this,
I see myself and the world for its arisings and its falling,
Its comings and its goings.
In all of this,
I am present.
I make a daily practice of focusing myself only on those things which I've lived and enliven.
I cultivate passionate wisdom.
I cultivate a sound mind and a sound body.
I master the moment.
I master each moment.
I focus only on what is here and now.
When any future event does come,
I will always be ready for it.
I am in control of myself in any moment.
I retain my authority of lucid awareness.
I take a moment before reacting and find it easier to maintain control.
I know I am connected to everything.
I am free in myself.
My mind is free,
Fearless and steadfast.
Nothing can subtract or add to my inner happiness.
I find a light in my own being.
I understand.
I love.
I see directly and immediately.
I move with conscious effort.
I breathe in and I breathe out.
I am here.
I have arrived.
I rest in the impermanence of life.
I rest in the impermanence of emotions and reaction.
I sit with compassionate emptiness.
I embrace and understand suffering.
Peace is in my heart.
I live in this present moment.
Compassion stretches to all things.
My life is interwoven with all things.
And in all of this,
I am present.
Thank you.
And I hope you have enjoyed this daily Buddhist affirmation and guided thought session.
I'm Silas Day,
And have a wonderful day.
