I wanted to put this on repeat, but learned a while back that if I do that, I'm not given the option to leave a review if it's the first time I've heard a track.
And I was NOT going to bypass the possibility of leaving a review for this most glorious, amazing, outstanding, uptempo track.
Although I didn't hear any obvious echoes of my own current ancestry (Nordic/Scandinavian, Germanic, and Polish), I do have very close ties with Australia and the Native American cultures of North America in general. I heard the didgeridoo and was immediately brought back to that star-filled night outside Uluru in the Outback when I had encountered an ancient female spirit who told me they knew I would come and had been waiting for me (no small thing for a then-teenager living in Minnesota, USA). The local band concert going on in an outdoor pavilion set a bit apart from the main road heavily featured the didgeridoo and clay pot percussion; I purchased their CD from them at the folding table next to their stage after the concert, and it remains one of my favorite albums to this day, despite my many travels.
This piece here, Ancestors, was one I thought I would sit quietly to and soak in while I allowed it to speak to me. It had other plans for me though, and I almost instantly found myself moving through the warm up exercises to my morning mobility exercises, swaying and turning in time to the beat, adding in arm raises and other movements in joy and connection.
Thank you so very much for sharing this wonderful gift with us here. I've done "all the things" with it here - bookmarked, downloaded, added to Playlists, followed you, etc. I look forward to experiencing more of whatever talents you wish to share with us! I see you and the light within you. Be well. π€²π»ππ€²π»
(Now to replay and put on repeat for more of my full exercise session. π)
