Namaste and welcome.

If you haven't had a chance to practice with me just yet,

My name is Christine.

Thank you for choosing this practice and for choosing to be here.

I am in deep honor of you for saying yes to giving yourself the very precious gift of your own devotion and presence.

Rest easy now.

You are here and it is time to begin the process of unwinding,

Releasing the weight of your day and of your worries and responsibilities,

Surrendering to the medicine and potency of deep rest,

Refilling your inner reserves,

Softening and opening to the unconditional embrace of Source Consciousness,

Pure,

Loving,

All-pervasive Presence.

It is time for you to now let go of the outer world and to voyage home deep within your innermost world.

So let's begin.

Might you take the next few moments to fully settle into your yoga nidra nest,

Getting super cozy and supporting your body with pillows and blankets,

Perhaps covering the eyes to block out any light in your environment,

Making any final little adjustments and then taking a deep breath in through the nose and exhaling slowly out through the mouth,

Allowing the body to get heavy and taking another deep breath in through the nose,

Perhaps pausing for a moment at the top of the breath,

Slowly exhaling through the mouth,

Letting the whole body sink and soften.

Let's take one more deep breath in,

Pause for a moment at the top and slowly exhale through the mouth.

Feeling your whole body surrendering to rest,

Welcoming waves of relaxation to wash over you from the crown of your head down to your fingertips and down to the tips of your toes,

Relaxing the facial muscles and the whole lower jaw,

Letting the bones get heavy,

Back of the head heavy,

The whole torso,

The whole pelvis,

Both legs,

Relaxing,

Letting go,

Permission to let go.

The practice of yoga nidra begins now.

Let all of your senses be open and receptive.

Notice the feeling of the support beneath you,

Sensing the density of the ground,

The pull of gravity,

And letting the eyelids get heavy,

Eyes sinking down and back,

Noticing the breath inside the nostrils,

Sensing any aromas,

Sensations,

The flow of breath,

Welcoming in sounds,

Both ears listening,

Receptive,

Noticing the sounds furthest from you,

Noticing sounds closest to you,

The sound of your own breath or even your own heart beating.

Now,

Welcoming your attention to gather at your heart center,

Presence at the heart space,

Welcoming your sankalpa to arise,

A heartfelt longing and sacred promise to yourself,

Trusting the wisdom that arises here.

If your sankalpa remains unclear,

Trust in your own timing and see if any of the following resonate.

I am one with the creative intelligence that flows through me and all of existence.

I am open to the flow of divine grace and blessings.

I am a vessel of universal love and wisdom,

Or I am aligned with the highest frequency of love.

I am pure consciousness.

Mentally repeat your sankalpa now three times.

Feel your sankalpa to already be true as you release it.

Begin to scan attention throughout the physical body.

Notice sensations as you move from point to point,

Bringing all of your attention now to the crown of the head.

Sole of the foot,

Ankle,

Hip,

Attention migrating back to the center of the chest,

Heart center,

Solar plexus just above the navel,

Sacral center just below the navel,

Pelvic center,

And sensing the whole pelvic bowl,

The tip of the tailbone,

All the way to the base of the skull,

Back of the head,

Heavy,

Whole body heavy,

Resting deeply,

Whole body alive with sensation,

Whole body,

Trillions of cells illuminated by the light of awareness,

Resting deeply,

Now gathering attention at the clearing between the brows,

Presence in the third eye center,

Begin sensing or imagining you could breathe in through your third eye toward the middle of your brain,

Exhaling back out through the third eye,

Sensing or imagining presence,

Riding on the breath in and out through the third eye center,

Now could you bring all of your attention to sensations in the whole right hemisphere of your body,

Whole right hemisphere of your body saturated with awareness,

Whole right arm and hand,

Right side of the torso,

Right leg and foot,

Whole right side permeated with awareness,

Then migrating attention toward the midline of your body,

Awareness now saturating into the whole left hemisphere of your body,

Whole left arm and hand,

Left side of the torso,

Left leg and foot,

Whole left side permeated with awareness,

Now letting awareness saturate the whole body,

Welcoming sensations in both hemispheres of the body simultaneously,

Whole body filled with sensation and vital life force energy,

And then letting that go,

Now feel and sense your whole body from the vital organs,

Tissues and bones,

Deep within to the boundary of the surface of your skin,

Illuminating your inner landscape with the light of your awareness,

Now begin feeling and sensing into the outer environment and space around you,

Expanding awareness beyond the boundary of your body,

Illuminate the space around you,

Now might you feel and sense both inner and outer simultaneously,

As if both inner and outer begin to melt into each other,

Blending,

Boundaries dissolving,

And then letting that go,

Now welcoming attention to gather at the clearing between the brows,

Ajna chakra,

The third eye center,

Consciously closing your eyes,

Now welcoming attention to gather at the clearing between the brows,

Ajna chakra,

The third eye center,

Consciously connecting to your innate imagination,

Intuition and buddha nature,

To your innate goodness and wisdom,

Now might you imagine a black screen behind the vast blackness behind closed eyes,

Welcoming impressions to arise and dissolve as you begin a rapid visualization,

A fresh water spring,

An elaborate spider web,

An amethyst crystal pendant,

The sky at dawn,

A dove,

A snake eating its own tail,

A white dragon,

The full moon,

A serene buddha,

A white lotus slowly spinning at the crown of your head,

Thousands of petals unfurling,

A warm golden white orb of light emanating from the lotus at the crown of your head,

As you breathe,

Imagine this light growing,

Filling your entire body,

And then spilling into the space around you,

Encompassing you in this warm golden white light,

The light of your awareness illuminating inner and outer,

And then letting that go,

Returning to a state of equanimity,

Resting deeply here in the eternal present now,

Quiet ecstatic homecoming,

You might feel a sense of trust that you were connected to all that is guided and supported,

Connected,

Aligned,

Expansive awareness,

Permeating all that is,

And then letting go of all that is,

Expansive awareness,

Permeating all that is,

Boundless and free,

Now welcoming your attention to soak back into your heart center,

Attention gathering and presence at the heart space,

Welcoming your sankalpa once again,

Mentally repeating it three times now,

Mentally repeating it three times now,

And so it is,

Might you sense the existence of your sankalpa already here now as you release it,

Let your attention come back to the breath,

Just noticing the gentle rise and fall at your navel,

Take a full breath in,

And a gentle exhale through the mouth,

Taking one more deep breath in,

Gentle exhale out through the mouth,

Ah,

Visualize your body resting on the ground and feel the weight of the body,

Sense the outline of your body,

And the volume of the body,

Awareness gently rising,

And sensing your environment,

Awareness rising like the morning sun,

Rejuvenated,

Renewed,

Reborn once more,

The practice is complete,

When you feel ready,

Begin wiggling the toes and fingers,

Or gently nodding the head side to side,

Slowly welcoming yourself back,

And you might draw your knees to your chest for a little back massage,

Or take a full body stretch,

Just check in with your body and honor whatever it is that you need,

Taking your time to savor this inner experience,

And I just want to thank you again so much for joining me today,

And for giving yourself the grace and space you so deserve,

It's been an honor to share this practice with you,

May you know your innate joy,

May you be at peace,

And may your spirit always be free,

Until next time,

So much love,

Namaste.
