This track is part of my Seven Factors of Awakening series — the “superpowers” that answer the Five Hindrances. Here we’re working with Energy, not as hustle or grind, but as that first honest spark when everything in you wants to shut down. We’ll sit together, feel where the heaviness lives in the body, and then use a few simple moves — standing a little taller, doing just one real thing, adding 1% more presence — to remind the nervous system, “I still move. I’m still here.” No hype. No perfection. Just street-level Dharma for the days you feel stuck.

Take a second to relax.

Let your shoulders drop a little.

Let your jaw unhook.

If it feels safe,

You can close your eyes.

Or just soften your gaze somewhere in front of you.

Slow breath in through the nose.

Easy breath out through the mouth.

This is Juan.

Today we're sitting with the third factor of awakening.

Energy.

Virya.

Virya.

Not grind culture.

Not hustle harder.

Energy here is simple.

It's the part of you that can still say,

I can do one real thing.

I've known the opposite most of my life.

Virya.

Sink full of dishes.

Bills on the table.

Phone blowing up.

A quiet voice will slide in.

You're too late.

Too tired.

You already failed.

You failed.

Buddha's word,

Virya,

Offered me something different.

Take another slow breath in.

Now bring to mind one place in your life where you feel heavy or stuck right now.

Maybe your practice.

Your house.

Your house.

Your body.

A relationship.

Let just one scene float up.

Notice what the stuck voice says there.

I can't.

It won't matter.

I'll start when I feel better.

You don't have to fight it.

Just recognize as I shut down talking.

Now if it feels okay,

Sit or stand a little taller with me.

Feet planted.

Chest with a bit more room.

Crown of the head.

Head gently lifting.

Let your face stay soft.

And breathe in a natural way as you hold this for a moment.

Feel what this posture quietly says.

I'm still here.

I haven't disappeared.

I'm still here.

Let yourself ease back into whatever posture is comfortable.

One dish.

One text.

One stretch.

One walk to the mailbox.

See yourself doing it.

Just honestly.

Smile.

This is what clean effort feels like.

Not drama.

Just proof.

Now let your hands rest again.

Pick one simple thing in your present moment.

To give a little more attention to.

The weight of your body on the chair.

Or the sounds around you.

Choose one.

Or the next stretch.

Stay with that one thing.

If it's feet,

Feel,

Heal.

Toes.

Arches.

If it's sound,

Notice near sounds and far sounds.

Name it softly.

Then come back to what you're feeling right now.

That coming back is the factor you're training.

If at any moment you feel wired,

Let the exhale be a little longer.

Rest your attention on something calming.

The weight of your body.

Or the quiet between sounds.

Sometimes real effort is not pushing harder.

It's having the courage to rest without running away from yourself.

Take one more slow breath in.

Are you exactly the same as when we started?

Or is there even a tiny shift?

Two percent more.

Two percent more here.

Two percent less collapsed.

If so,

That's energy waking up.

Not the fantasy of a brand new life.

Just the truth that you can still lean in a better direction.

One slow lap around the block.

One honest breath before I picked up my phone.

Those tiny moves did more for me than a thousand plans I never started.

You don't have to become a different person tonight.

You just have to be willing to take one living step and trust that the next one will be easier because of it.

Www.

Mooji.
