Hello.
So this short meditation is meant to be listened to with headphones while you're out and about doing your day.
Whether you're on a train or in the car or walking the dog or just taking a little stroll,
Whenever you have a moment in transit throughout your day.
Now I really want you to just breathe in through your nose,
Heal your lips.
Notice the sensation of the breath coming in and out of your nose.
Meditation is not about going into a trance.
It's,
Even though it can help with sleep,
It's not about sleep.
It's about being awake.
It's about being conscious.
It's about being present.
So you don't need to have time to sit in a perfectly quiet space all by yourself with no distractions and nothing to do because ideally you can be in a conscious state all the time.
So practicing it while you're out and about can be even better.
If you're walking,
Feel the ground against your feet.
Feel every step that you take.
If you're driving,
Feel the wheel touching your hands.
Feel your foot against the pedals,
Your back against the seat.
If you're on the train,
Feel the ground against your feet.
Notice everything,
The smells,
The sounds.
Simply take it all in and come back to the breath,
Back to the breath.
You are exactly where you need to be.
You are exactly who you need to be.
Right now in this moment,
Nothing is lacking.
Give yourself permission to surrender.
Give yourself permission to simply observe.
There's nothing that you need to control or change about this moment.
Simply breathe and notice all of the sensations.
Simply breathe.
If you find your mind wandering to some thoughts,
Notice what those thoughts are.
Are they about work?
Are they about family?
It doesn't matter what they're about really except for the fact that you're noticing it,
Meaning you don't need to judge it.
Simply notice.
Label it so you can set it aside and return to your breath.
Your breath and your observations of all the sensations around you,
The movement of your legs,
Of your hands,
Your chest rising and falling.
There is nothing you need to change about this moment.
Just sit with me for a little bit and simply be.
Thank you for listening.
I encourage you to find moments to do this throughout your day with this recording again or even on your own.
Thank you.
