Hello and welcome to this EFT and Yoga Nidra meditation session focused on the health of the throat chakra.

Today we will explore the profound realms of our inner being,

Delving into the delicate energies of Vishuddha,

A gateway to authentic self-expression,

Communication,

And truth.

As we embark on this journey,

We will merge the healing practices of EFT,

Emotional Freedom Technique,

And Yoga Nidra,

Unlocking the gates of the throat chakra's potential.

EFT will help release the blockages that hinder our authentic expression,

While Yoga Nidra will guide you to a profound state of relaxation and inner awareness.

As we navigate the waters of your throat chakra,

Envision the words you've left unsaid,

The truths you've hidden,

And the stories longing to be shared.

Allow the energy to flow freely,

Unearthing your inner voice like a melodious song,

Echoing through the chambers of your heart.

And we'll be using our tapping technique first,

But because we'll be transitioning into Yoga Nidra directly after our tapping,

Perhaps go ahead and gather any supplies that make you feel a little bit more comfortable,

Any blankets,

Pillows,

Possibly a heating pad,

Or maybe some yoga blocks,

And settle into your space,

Finding a comfortable and tranquil space where you can let go of the external world.

And please feel free to sit up through your tapping if you like,

But it might feel good to lay down as well,

Just keeping your arms free of any blankets.

And before we start to tap,

Just tune into how you're feeling in the moment,

The relative amount of stress or tension that you feel in your body.

Taking a moment to rate this tension on a scale of 1 to 10,

And taking a deep and cleansing breath,

Inhaling fully through the nose,

Exhaling completely through the mouth,

And returning to an easy breath,

Allowing your body to do the breathing for you.

And during our first round of tapping,

We'll be acknowledging the negative experience.

So it's possible that some of these prompts might not resonate with you,

Or how you feel about your throat chakra or the world.

If any of these prompts do not resonate with you,

Please feel free to skip them,

Or even possibly use a different prompt in their place.

But to start,

The first round will be tapping only on the karate chop point.

So using two fingers on either hand,

Tapping on the space between your wrist and your pinky knuckle on either hand,

And beginning to acknowledge the negative experience that we might have through a blocked throat chakra.

Tapping lightly,

Repeating to yourself or out loud,

I do not feel authentic.

Continue on the karate chop point.

I have difficulty speaking up.

Expressing myself feels dangerous.

I have been told I should be seen and not heard.

I carry so much tension in my jaw.

I am constantly biting my tongue and clamping down on my words.

I doubt my ability to communicate effectively.

I hold back my true voice,

Fearing judgment and rejection.

Still tapping on the karate chop point.

I neglect my need for expression and frequently silence myself with fear.

And taking a break,

Again take your deep inhale all the way through the nose.

Your full exhale.

And this time we're going to be moving through all nine acupressure points.

And as we make these statements,

If these prompts very much align with your experience,

With expression and the health of your throat chakra,

Really make an effort to feel into the experience.

Dredging up any memories that might come with these statements.

The magic of the tapping is really feeling into that stressful state,

That traumatic state,

And using the tapping to disrupt the fear response.

So again,

Tapping on the karate chop point on either hand.

I do not feel authentic.

I do not feel authentic.

The inside of the eyebrow.

I have difficulty speaking up.

I have difficulty speaking up.

Outside of the eye.

Expressing myself feels dangerous.

Expressing myself feels dangerous.

Under the eye.

I've been told I should be seen and not heard.

I've been told I should be seen and not heard.

Under the nose.

I carry so much tension in my jaw.

Chin.

I am constantly biting my tongue and clamping down on my words.

Collarbone.

I doubt my ability to communicate effectively.

Under the arm.

I hold back my true voice,

Fearing judgment and rejection.

I hold back my true voice,

Fearing judgment and rejection.

Crown of the head.

I neglect my need for expression and frequently silence myself with fear.

I neglect my need for expression and frequently silence myself with fear.

And again,

Pausing your tapping.

Taking another full breath.

Inhaling fully through the nose.

Completely through the mouth.

And now we're going to use the tapping to open up another way of being.

The possibility of change.

Getting our bodies and minds on the same page,

Welcoming this evolution and growth.

So again,

Beginning to tap on the karate chop point.

I do not feel authentic.

But I am open to feeling another way.

I do not feel authentic.

But I am open to feeling another way.

Inside of the eyebrow.

I have difficulty speaking up.

But I am open to being another way.

I have difficulty speaking up.

But I am open to being another way.

Outside of the eye.

Expressing myself feels dangerous.

But I am open to feeling another way.

But I am open to feeling another way.

Underneath the eye.

I have been told I should be seen and not heard.

But I am open to being another way.

But I am open to being another way.

Underneath the nose.

I carry so much tension in my jaw.

But I am open to feeling another way.

Chin.

I am constantly biting my tongue and clamping down on my words.

But I am open to being another way.

I am constantly biting my tongue and clamping down on my words.

But I am open to being another way.

Collarbone.

I doubt my ability to communicate effectively.

But I am open to feeling another way.

Underneath the arm.

I hold back my true voice,

Fearing judgment and rejection.

Crown of the head.

I neglect my need for expression and frequently silence myself with fear.

But I am open to being another way.

I neglect my need for expression and frequently silence myself with fear.

But I am open to being another way.

And again,

Pause tapping.

Take your cleansing breath.

Noticing how you're feeling after those two rounds of acknowledging and validating the negative.

Opening yourself up to a different way of being.

And let's move on to the positive affirmations.

Tapping on the karate chop point again.

I am authentic.

I am authentic.

The inside of the eyebrow.

I have the right to speak my truth.

I have the right to speak my truth.

Outside of the eye.

I have the right to express myself.

I have the right to express myself.

Under the eye.

I speak my mind to heal the parts of me that fear rejection.

I speak my mind to heal the parts of me that fear rejection.

Under the nose.

I release the strain and tension in my mouth and jaw.

I release the strain and tension in my mouth and jaw.

Under the bottom lip.

Authentic words flow as I express my truth.

Authentic words flow as I express my truth.

Collarbone.

I release the preoccupation with being perfectly understood.

I release the preoccupation with being perfectly understood.

Under the arm.

I use my true voice to color and shape my life.

I use my true voice to color and shape my life.

And crown of the head.

I embrace my profound need for self-expression.

I embrace my profound need for self-expression.

And letting it go.

Pausing your tapping.

And beginning to settle in for your yoga nidra practice.

Tucking your arms underneath the blanket.

Snuggling in so you feel safe and comfortable.

Really feel the weight of your body on the earth.

Take a moment and open your eyes.

Orient yourself to your surroundings.

Give your eyeballs a large range of movement.

Scanning all the way to the left.

To the right.

Above you.

And below.

And if it feels safe,

Go ahead and close your eyes down.

And beginning to listen in for your sankalpa.

Your sacred vow.

It sounds a lot like an affirmation.

So we can use the words,

I am authentic.

I speak my mind.

I am my truth.

Whatever is resonating with you today.

Using something that is healing to your throat chakra.

And beginning to repeat your sankalpa.

Your intention over to yourself.

And as you do,

Really connecting with the emotional experience of I am.

Imagining how it would feel to truly express yourself fully.

Completely.

And at all times without fear of rejection or criticism.

Imagine how that version of yourself moves through the world.

What truths would they say?

How would they speak to themselves?

Really feeling into this brave,

Expressive and authentic version of yourself.

Repeating your sankalpa over to yourself one more time.

I am authentic.

I am safe to express my truth.

Feel into it.

And let it go.

Letting the words into the still waters of your unconscious.

Trusting them to grow in the light of your awareness.

And settling into your space again.

Beginning to notice the inside of your mouth.

Feel the space under your tongue.

The roof of the mouth.

Feel the inside of your right cheek.

The inside of your left cheek.

Become aware of your teeth.

Allow them to part.

Imagining your teeth are very heavy.

Allowing your jaw to hang from its hinge.

Soften the lips.

Maybe you feel your lips part.

And becoming aware of your outer right ear.

Your outer left ear.

Your inner right ear.

Your inner left ear.

Now becoming aware of the space in between the two inner ears.

Feeling the middle of the mind.

Allowing your brain to have an experience of expansion.

Become aware of the space between your right earlobe and the top of the right shoulder.

The left earlobe and the top of the left shoulder.

Feel the base of the skull at the back of the neck.

Let the throat soften.

And the head be very heavy.

And now drawing all of your focus and awareness into the thumb on your right hand.

Become aware of your right pointer finger.

Middle finger.

Ring.

Pinky.

Feel your right palm.

The roots of the fingers on the right hand.

Wrist.

Forearm.

Right shin bone.

Calf.

Ankle.

Top of the right foot.

Right big toe.

Second toe.

Third.

Fourth.

And fifth toe.

Feel the center of the sole of the right foot.

Now expanding your awareness into just the right side of the body.

Just the right side.

Now move all of your awareness into the thumb on the left hand.

Left pointer finger.

Middle finger.

Ring.

Pinky.

Feel the roots of the fingers on the left hand.

Center of the palm.

Wrist.

Forearm.

Elbow.

The circumference of your left elbow.

Upper arm bone.

Top of the left shoulder.

Collar bone.

Left side of the chest.

Armpit.

Rib cage.

Left side of the waist.

Hip bone.

Left glute.

Top of the thigh.

Back of the left thigh.

The circumference of your left knee.

Calf.

Shin.

Left ankle.

Top of the foot.

Left big toe.

Second toe.

Third.

Fourth.

And fifth toe.

Feel the center of the sole of the left foot.

And expanding your awareness to just the left side of the body.

Just the left side.

And now zipping up the two halves.

Become aware of both big toes.

The pelvic floor.

Belly button.

The space where the ribs meet.

Feel your heart center.

Face of the throat.

Center of the brow.

And crown of the head.

Feel the whole body resting on the earth.

Head to toe.

Whole body.

And at this point in the meditation,

You can either drift off to sleep or begin to stir.

Taking your time,

Resuming activities.
