So just allowing yourself to become comfortable wherever you are,

Whether you're sitting or lying down,

Closing down the eyes or turning the gaze toward the floor.

Take the next few breaths to really become comfortable in your space.

Just noticing the state of your body and mind right now.

But with this,

Avoiding any judgments that may arise.

Observing the thoughts in your mind for what they are rather than what you think they should be.

Allowing yourself to truly experience each breath as it comes and goes,

Coming to the here and now.

Some days we may find ourselves more drawn toward our insecurities and more critical about things.

It is normal that our self-love fluctuates from day to day.

This meditation will focus on bringing you back up when you are experiencing those low moments.

My goal is that by the end of this meditation,

You will view yourself from a place of love and compassion that you may take with you for the rest of your day.

Notice how when you inhale,

The chest and the diaphragm expands.

And as you exhale,

It releases.

Trying not to change it,

But rather just observing it.

If you notice your mind wandering,

Observe the thought,

Let it pass and gently guide your mind back to the breath.

Noticing the power in each and every breath in your body.

The way the breath flows in through the nose and mouth,

Giving life to your entire body.

To your feet and toes,

To your legs,

Your torso,

Your waist,

Your chest and lungs and heart and mind.

Visualizing your next inhales as a warm white light.

One that creates a feeling of comfort and safety as it flows through each and every part of your body.

And with this,

Allowing your body and mind to fall into a place of comfort and safety.

From this place of comfort,

Bringing your awareness to the incredible power of your mind and body.

As we focus on the breath for the next few moments,

Bringing this affirmation to mind.

My perspective is my choice.

I choose to see myself with love and respect.

My perspective is my choice.

I choose to see myself with love and respect.

This affirmation may bring up thoughts and emotions.

Notice them without judgment for as long as you would like.

Then bring your mind back to the affirmation.

My perspective is my choice.

I choose to see myself with love and respect.

Reflect on the feeling in your mind and body right now.

Know that you are capable of creating this feeling on your own.

You have the power to give yourself love just like you give to others.

Beginning to notice the sensation of contact with the object beneath you.

Noticing where your hands are and what they are in contact with.

Beginning to notice any sounds in the space around you.

When you are ready,

Gently opening the eyes if you decided to close them and guiding your awareness back into the space around you.
