To begin this meditation,
Find a comfortable spot sitting or lying down.
If you feel comfortable too,
Feel free to close down the eyes or turn the gaze toward the floor.
During the next few breaths,
Really allow this time to make yourself comfortable and safe in your space.
Take a big inhale through the nose,
Expanding the diaphragm,
And as you exhale,
Relax the shoulders,
Releasing any tension from the face,
From the core,
From the arms,
And the legs.
Feel the sensation of gravity keeping you grounded,
Secure,
And safe against the earth beneath you.
During this meditation,
We will be focusing our time and energy on gratitude,
Fully allowing ourselves to find a place of appreciation and contentment for the current,
Past,
And future experiences of our lives.
Beginning to bring awareness to the breath,
Fully experiencing each inhale and exhale for the next few moments.
Noticing the beginning,
The middle,
And the end.
Allow thoughts to come and then go,
Thanking your mind for creating them,
And then allowing them to pass.
Each breath you take right now is fueled with an amazing power that flows through your body,
Giving you energy,
Spirit,
And strength.
This automatic function of the body gives you the power to experience moments,
To appreciate them,
To recall them,
And to create new ones.
Notice all of the things the power of the breath does for you.
So,
Experience the next breaths fully and entirely.
Experience the power that each one holds.
Feeling a sensation of gratitude in your mind and body for each breath.
If you get distracted by thoughts,
Thank your mind for creating them,
And then allow them to pass,
Coming back to the breath.
As each new moment comes,
Hold gratitude for exactly where you are.
Hold gratitude for exactly who you are,
Who you were,
And where you have been.
Remember that you are here to experience the magic of each moment and flow with the process of life.
Choose to experience it with joy,
Curiosity,
And gratitude.
So,
Begin to notice the feeling of contact between your body and the ground beneath you.
Notice any sensation of gratitude that you feel toward the space around you.
Notice that it keeps you safe,
Secure,
And comfortable.
Begin to notice any sounds around you,
Noticing the fascination and joy of the sense of sound.
Slowly begin to lift the gaze or reopen the eyes.
Notice how you might view the space around you in a different way.
Remember that you have the ability to experience this feeling of gratitude at any time.
Thank you so much for joining me and for listening today.
