When we sleep,

We heal.

We dream.

We regenerate.

So often when we close our eyes to rest,

This is when the mind begins to race,

To run,

To worry and overanalyze.

I invite you to become more in tune with the natural rhythm of your body.

Remove as many distractions as possible,

Turning off the alerts for your phone,

Turning off the TV,

Dimming or turning off the lights and creating the most comfortable space to sleep,

A sanctuary for your rest.

Close your eyes.

Take a deep breath inhaling through your nose for the count of 1,

2,

3,

4 and release.

3,

4.

This is your time and this is your space.

There's nowhere else you need to be right now and nothing else that requires your attention in this moment.

Begin to relax your body one area at a time.

Imagine a soft white light cascading down your body,

Softening every area that it touches.

This light begins at the crown of your head and slowly begins to move down across your face.

Open your brow and your eyes.

Relax your cheeks.

Relax your jaw and your throat.

Thoughts may begin to arise.

Watch them come and go with ease.

Nothing can wait until tomorrow.

Take another deep breath in through your nose for 1,

2,

3,

4 and release.

Use your powerful breath to soften any areas of your body that feel tense or tight.

Breathe deep into those spaces.

Relax your chest.

Allow your arms to become heavy.

Heavy.

Soft and heavy sinking into the surface that's supporting you.

Your magnificent white light continues to descend down.

Relax your hips and your thighs.

Bring your awareness back to your breath.

Allow your light to continue softening,

Relaxing,

Healing every inch of your body all the way down to your toes.

Any experience you had today is now in your past.

See it,

Notice it and release it with your next exhale.

You're safe to sleep,

To drift and to dream.

True happiness comes from balance.

The balance between always being and always becoming.

In this moment,

Just breathe.

In this moment,

Just be.

Just be.

Just be.

Give any worries away for now they do not serve you.

Give any fears away for they will never serve you.

You are safe.

You are whole.

You are peace.

Let your body sink deeper,

Deeper.

You are safe.

When you wake up,

You'll feel more rested than ever before,

More alive than ever before.

Every cell will be vibrating,

Feeling nourished.

You'll have more energy and more clarity.

This beautiful vessel you live in is ready to sleep,
