Transcript

This is a meditation on trust.

Let's begin by finding a position that feels like a genuine kindness to your body.

Find a place where you can settle and simply be.

Let's start by taking a few breaths in through the nose.

Exhaling out through the mouth with a sigh of relief.

One more breath.

And now gently close your eyes or soften your gaze,

Letting the external world blur as you turn your attention inwards.

Start to bring your attention to your natural breath.

As we begin this meditation,

The foundation of trust,

There is nowhere else you need to be,

Nothing else you need to do.

And as you continue breathing naturally and gently into your body,

Start to feel the weight of your body pressing against the floor or the chair.

Noticing how the earth rises to meet you without fame.

Feel the support beneath you and trust that you are held.

And with every inhale and every exhale,

You start to give more permission to yourself to drop more into the support.

Acknowledging that trust begins there,

With a simple physical surrender to gravity.

Start to settle more into the position that you're in.

Start to feel the heaviness of your body.

Deeper and deeper with every breath you take in and every breath you exhale.

And as we start to move deeper into this meditation,

Connect deeper with your breath.

Allow each inhale you take in as an act of receiving light,

Love,

And trust.

And every exhale is an act of releasing resistance,

Doubt,

And worry.

So start to welcome your inhales with an openness and with a sense of trust.

And as you exhale,

Trust the release.

And if you feel comfortable,

Maybe move your hand and place it over your heart,

The middle of your chest.

Connect to the sound of your heartbeat and to the rhythm of your heart.

And as you continue to breathe,

Send your awareness and your breath to that space.

And maybe ask yourself,

Can I trust the timing of my own life?

And allow the silence that comes after that to be the space where the answers start to arise.

Not in words,

But in a feeling of deep inner connection and a deep inner permission to be exactly where you are.

And in this space,

We acknowledge the unknown and we trust in it.

And we allow ourselves to be in our heart space with whatever comes up.

Keep breathing into your heart.

Keep pressing a little bit firmer with your palms on your heart space.

And as you continue to deepen your awareness and your connection to that space,

I invite you now to repeat in your mind after me,

Or maybe simply just listen to my words.

As you continue to breathe with a gentle touch of awareness and an openness to connect to trust.

I trust the timing.

I trust the unfolding of my life.

I'm exactly where I need to be.

I trust the natural rhythm of my breath to guide me back to center.

I honor the quiet voice within.

And I trust the insights that arise in silence and arise when I pause.

I trust my body to let go of tension as I breathe into the present,

As I breathe into my heart space.

I release my worries to the universe.

And I fill my body with trust with every inhale I take.

I trust that I'm safe and supported.

And with my exhale,

I release any resistance,

Doubt,

Or worry.

I am safe.

Allow for these words to resonate deeper than you.

Keep breathing softly and gently and naturally into the heart.

Into the body.

Just simply allow that sense of trust to start growing within you.

Even if you don't necessarily feel it in this moment,

Trust that you've planted that seed and you've opened up your heart and you've softened your breath.

Allow for trust to grow from this moment onwards.

I invite you to just be in this moment,

In silence,

Breathing softly into your heart,

And let the trust begin.

Let the journey towards a deeper sense of faith.

In yourself and in your journey and in the process begin.

Simply just be.

Now just let that sense of trust expand in your heart.

Now allow it to be a soft and steady anchor for the days and months to come.

You may choose to remain in this energy seated in your position,

With your breath,

Or you can start to begin to return to the body.

As we start to end this meditation,

I invite you to gently wiggle,

Remove your fingers and your toes,

Remember that the process you're learning to trust doesn't end when this meditation ends.

As you start to awaken the body and start to take deeper breaths in through the nose,

And exhale out through the mouth.

Trust that you do not need to know the whole map.

All you need to do is take the next steps to deepen your trust in yourself and in life.

You only need to trust your breath,

And allow the breath to guide you whenever you feel disconnected from the energy of trust.

Come back to your breath,

Slow it down,

And reconnect with the heart space.

Reconnect with this feeling that we've cultivated together.

And as you continue now to bring on more movement into your hands,

Maybe your arms,

Your feet,

Maybe your head.

Slowly,

When you're ready,

You can start to explore opening your eyes or widening your gaze.

Beautiful.

And if you're there,

I thank you for practicing with me.

And may from this moment onwards,

You feel a deeper connection to trust.

Namaste
