Day 6 Accessing Your Inner Knowing As you practice meditation,
You will naturally see your life begin to shift.
Simply by becoming more aware of your unconscious mind,
You can choose new thoughts that will support you in creating a healthier life.
On day 4,
We talked about how I notice when my wellness is off,
My mind tends to be harder on me.
I believe wellness equals wisdom.
To access our inner knowing,
We must take care of our mind,
Body,
And spirit.
Intuition often comes from a place beyond logical reasoning,
And there is no one-size-fits-all.
My intuition speaks to me in many ways,
Sometimes it's imagery in my imagination,
Others it's a gut feeling or a tingling in my body.
I cannot tell you how yours speaks to you,
But I can tell you it speaks to you all day,
Every day.
There's an old saying that a quiet mind can hear intuition over fear.
Your mind has thought it's in charge for a very long time,
And can be quite loud at times,
Making it hard to sense your intuition.
Often my intuition is a soft nudge or a faint feeling.
On one occasion it was a whole body sensation that ended up saving me from cancer,
A story which I'm sharing in my book,
Selfish Love.
By making meditation a daily practice,
And your wellness a priority,
You will soon find you live in harmony with the subtle energies of life.
Your inner knowing guides you to opportunities,
And helps you use discernment.
You will deepen your reverence for yourself,
And not tolerate things that don't serve your highest and best.
Your uniqueness will begin to show itself to you,
And you will trust that it's safe to explore your gifts and what makes you different.
When you make meditation a priority in your day,
You will be guided to the ways that you can support your individual wellness,
Thus unlocking even more wisdom,
And leading you to even more alignment.
You are of best service to those around you when you,
Yourself,
Are well taken care of.
Today let's try a guided meditation for living in alignment.
I invite you to close your eyes,
Or soften your gaze.
Begin by taking in a slow deep breath through your nose,
And gently letting it go.
Scan your body,
And see if there are any micro-movements that it is requesting,
So that you can be supported in feeling even more relaxed for this journey.
Now that you are settled,
Let's embark on a journey to meet your highest self.
Imagine you are walking through a park on a beautiful day.
You can feel the warmth of the golden sun on your skin,
And you can smell the sweetness of the flowers as the aromas meet your nose.
You notice someone sitting on a bench under a tree just down the path.
As you approach,
Your body relaxes,
You feel a smile curving the edges of your mouth,
And you get the sensation that you are coming home.
You sit next to this person,
And your whole being fills with love.
They feel familiar to you.
They hand you a box,
A gift,
And you accept it with delight.
You open the box,
And are enamored with what's inside.
In this moment you feel whole,
Complete,
And at peace.
You will cherish this moment,
And the memento you received.
You place the memory of this feeling into your heart as you sit quietly together in adoration of this moment.
When you are ready,
You can slowly open your eyes and return to your day.
Feel free to return to the memory you placed in your heart when it serves you to be reminded of that feeling.
I will see you tomorrow for our seventh and final meditation together.
