Day 7.
Now what?
Creating a practice and measuring the outcome.
Anyone can listen to these audio recordings.
It's not rocket science to sign up for a free course and listen to someone talk for a few minutes a day seven days in a row.
But it takes commitment to own your wellness to continue to practice daily once the seven days are up.
If you miss a day or two notice how you feel.
Once you establish a habit of meditation you will not want to miss these days.
This time is sacred and trust me it compounds.
The more you practice the more you will notice shifts that bring you to a deeper understanding of who you truly are.
On day three we talked about setting an intention.
Perhaps you may want to write out your intention and put it up somewhere that you will regularly see it.
This will help to remind you of your goal and notice if you feel you are getting closer to it.
A word to the wise don't be rigid with your intention.
If you want to shift it at any time feel free to do so.
After all it was made for you by you.
Perhaps you will want to create milestones or mini goals to support your journey.
Like a goal to meditate for at least one minute a day for 21 days.
If your intention is to cultivate more peace how will you measure that?
Perhaps you could notice places where you don't feel peace now and see if you feel calmer in those situations one month from now and then two months and so on.
Remember meditations compound.
While one minute a day is a great place to start it's also a good idea to add time as time goes on.
Make sure to make it easy otherwise it's not attainable.
Try adding one minute each time you meditate opposed to jumping to a 30-minute meditation right off the bat.
Maybe try sticking with guided meditations instead of trying to meditate in silence.
Don't stop here.
I encourage you to sign up for Insight Timer a free meditation app with thousands of guided meditations from teachers all over the world including me.
You can find more meditations from me by searching my name in the app.
Above all else remember meditation is a practice.
If you fall off the horse for a while you can pick right back up where you left off at any time.
Shaming yourself is still in the same ego box and this is about getting out of the box.
My hope is that this learn to meditate course has shown you how simple meditation really is.
That there's no wrong way to do it and it's never too late to begin again.
I also hope you have a deeper understanding of what meditation can provide for you.
I truly believe that when we all choose to do the work individually we see huge shifts collectively.
So thank you for showing up and doing your part.
Now let's do our last meditation together in this series.
Begin by closing your eyes and taking a deep breath in through your nose.
Gently let that go.
Imagine that your body is emitting a radio signal and the deeper you breathe and the more relaxed you become the stronger your signal gets.
Your body is sending out waves of energy out out out into space.
Now imagine that everything you want all your desires draw closer and closer to you.
As your signal gets stronger your desires get closer.
You realize how easy it is to attract things to you when you are present to the signal you are sending out.
The more you relax the stronger the signal becomes and your desires manifest into your reality.
What does it feel like to have these things you've wanted come so easily to you?
Now that you are present to the natural state you can access any time to attract your dreams and desires.
You can return here whenever you feel like it.
Take a moment to bask and revel in the energy exchange.
Giving out peace,
Receiving your dreams.
When you are ready you can slowly open your eyes and ease back into your day.
I hope to see you again soon.
