Welcome yourself to this new day.
Find yourself in a comfortable position sitting down or standing up.
If you're standing up,
Find your knees slightly bent and feel your feet on the ground.
If you're sitting down,
Feel whatever you're touching on the ground.
Draw your shoulders back,
Open up your chest,
Opening up to life a little bit more.
Imagine there was a string on the crown of your head and life was pulling just gently your head on up.
So you had this gentle lift,
This gentle support.
Let go of your day yesterday.
Let go of the night that you had.
And welcome yourself right here,
Right now with me.
Just listening to the sounds,
Feeling your body.
Start to notice your breath and give thanks for the preciousness that life is.
We have this opportunity.
We have this opportunity to breathe.
This opportunity to be in our bodies.
Think of five things in your life that make life better,
That put a smile to your face.
Think of whether they make your life more enjoyable or make your life easy or fun.
Think of five things that you are grateful for.
And take five long and full breaths into the center of your chest,
Imagining that your heart could breathe,
That your heart could sip in this oxygen.
Notice what it feels like to give thanks,
To give gratitude,
Genuine gratitude for things in your life.
Notice what it feels like in your body.
Today is a new day with tremendous amount of possibilities.
You are the difference.
You can make a positive contribution to this world.
Remind yourself of your top three values.
How do you want to show up in your life today?
How do you want to show up for yourself?
How do you want to show up for others around you?
Who do you want to be?
And repeat after me,
You can say silently to yourself or you can say it out loud,
May my thoughts,
May my actions,
May my words contribute to the well-being and the peace for all.
Nothing to do in this moment,
Just be with your body,
Feel your breath,
Listen to the sound.
Imagine that your body was a computer and you are restarting your body and your mind with every single sound.
Start to feel into your feet,
Your toes,
Your legs,
Your hips,
Your belly,
Your chest,
Your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your hands,
Your fingers,
Your face,
Your hair,
Your nose,
Your eyelids.
Give every single little part of you some attention.
And thank yourself for taking these moments and time for you so that you can show up for others more fully.
Whenever you experience tension or excess stress or challenge throughout your day,
Come back to this feeling.
Come back to your breath and let that help guide you in any circumstance,
In any situation.
Remember you are the difference.
Remember you matter.
