Welcome to a sacred space of release,

Take a moment to settle into a quiet space where you feel safe and undisturbed,

This is your time to pause,

To breathe and to allow whatever you are carrying,

Whether tension,

Sadness or something unspoken,

This practice will help you soften your grip and make space for release So sit or lie down comfortably allowing your body to soften,

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth Again inhale deeply and as you exhale feel yourself settling into this moment,

There is nothing to do,

Nothing to fix,

Just space to be Bring your awareness to the rise and fall of your breath,

Notice the natural rhythm without forcing it With each inhale imagine fresh and pure energy entering the body and with each exhale release tension softening your face,

Your shoulders,

Your belly Feel the earth beneath you steady and supportive,

Know that you are safe and you are held Let's take another deep inhale and as you exhale sigh it out,

Let it go,

Once more inhale deeply and exhale with a sigh Feel your body releasing and unwinding,

Now gently bring your mind to something that you are holding on to,

Maybe an emotion,

A situation or a memory that weighs heavy Don't judge it,

Simply observe it,

Like a boat on a river floating past Where do you feel this emotion in your body,

Is it a tightness in your chest,

A heaviness in your stomach or maybe a lump in your throat Place your awareness there and without resistance allow yourself to fully feel this emotion like you are sitting beside it rather than fighting against it Take a breath into this space,

Letting it soften,

Whatever arises is okay,

You are safe to feel Now imagine this emotion as a shape,

A colour or a sensation,

What does it look like,

How does it move As you inhale imagine gathering this energy in your breath and as you exhale release it,

Allowing it to dissolve like mist into the air Now visualise a warm golden light surrounding the area where you hold tension With each breath this light grows dissolving any heaviness,

Any burden,

It fills you with warmth,

Comfort and ease Now envision standing beside a flowing river,

In your hands you hold this emotion in any form it takes Whenever you feel ready gently release it into the river and watch as the current carries it away further and further downstream You are no longer holding on to it,

You are free,

Feel the space that has opened within you,

Breathe into this space filling it with softness and with peace And repeat silently I allow myself to let go,

I release what no longer serves me,

I am open to healing I allow myself to let go,

I release what no longer serves me,

I am open to healing Now begin to bring your awareness back to the present moment,

Feeling your body against the surface beneath you and gently wiggle your fingers and toes bringing slight movement back into your body And when you feel ready slowly open your eyes and look into this new world that you've created,

This world where you are free And carry this sense of release with you and remember you are light,

You are at peace and you are free
