Welcome to today's meditation breathwork practice.
Today we're gonna do a visualization meditation and we're going to do this by going to a peaceful place and this place will be an imaginary area that you will visualize and I will guide you there.
So first of all get comfortable in a position that is the best for you so you can be lying down,
You can sit up in a chair or cross-legged and just start to relax your body and drop your shoulders and focus on your breath.
This will allow your mind to calm and as you breathe in take in the air and think about relaxing and as you exhale let go.
In and out,
In and out.
Soften the muscles of the face,
Let the belly soften and just continue to breathe slowly and peacefully as you allow all the tension to leave your body.
Trying to release all the areas of tension you can even feel your muscles relax and become more comfortable with each breath.
Breathing in and out,
Again in and out.
And as you become more and more relaxed you might notice that your breathing gradually slows down.
Beautiful work.
Now begin to create a picture in your mind of a place where you can completely relax and this imaginary place needs to be like in order for you to feel calm and relaxed.
Imagine what it leads to be like.
So starting with the physical layout of the place you're imagining where is this peaceful place?
You can envision somewhere outdoors or indoors.
It may be a little small space or a large one.
Create an image of this place in your mind.
Continue to breathe in and out.
Now in your mind's eye start to picture some details about your peaceful place.
Who is in this place?
Are you alone or maybe you're with someone else?
Are there animals,
Birds?
Imagine who is at your place whether it is only you or if you have company.
Now imagine the tastes and smells your place has to offer you.
Imagining the sensations of touch including the temperature,
Maybe there's some breeze or weather happening,
The surface you're sitting on.
Imagine all the details of this calming place.
Now what do you see?
Colors,
Shapes,
Objects,
Plants,
Water,
All the beautiful things that make your place peaceful and perfect just for you.
And imagine yourself in terms of what you are doing.
Maybe you're just sitting,
Enjoying,
Relaxing,
Walking.
Picturing yourself in this peaceful place.
Imagine a feeling of calm,
Of peace.
A place where you have no worries,
No cares,
No concerns.
A place where you can just relax and enjoy just being.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Enjoy your peaceful place for a few moments more.
Look around at the sights,
Listen to the sounds,
And feel the sensations around you.
And I want you to know you can return to this place in your mind whenever you need a break.
In these last few moments of our meditation,
Create a picture in your mind like a snapshot that you will return to next time you need a quick little break of relaxation.
Bringing your attention back to the present,
Back to the breath,
Back to the body.
Take one final inhale and a beautiful big sigh exhale.
You can blink open your eyes and notice your surroundings of your body and mind as you return back to your your space you're in now.
I really hope you keep that feeling of calm from your peaceful place as you move through your day today.
