Hi everyone,

Welcome to your breathwork meditation session today.

And we're going to do something different.

We're going to do a breathwork technique called conscious connection breath.

And how this works is we're going to inhale through the nose and exhale out the mouth.

I will guide you and we'll follow the music as well for this.

So let's begin in a comfortable position.

You know what's best for you,

You can lie down,

You can be seated,

Whatever works best for your body.

So find that position now.

Start to let go of the muscles,

Starting from the top of your head,

Working all the way down your body.

Just release and let go.

Soften the fingers and the toes.

Warm up the shoulders and know whatever you're doing is just right.

I've got you.

Start to notice the natural rhythm of your breath.

Make it nice and easy,

Just in through the nose and out the nose.

Good.

And just breathe.

Okay,

Let's start our conscious connection breath.

So we're going to take it in the nose for four counts.

In,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Out the mouth,

Two,

Three,

Four.

In,

And out.

In,

There is no top,

There is no bottom.

And in,

It's like that infinity loop.

Out,

Two,

Three,

Four.

In,

Two,

Filling all the way up.

Let it go,

Two,

Three,

Four.

In,

In.

Don't be afraid to make some audible noises on the exhale.

Take it in,

Fill up right to the belly.

Beautiful work,

Everyone.

In,

And out.

In,

Two,

Three,

Four,

And out.

Two more.

In,

Last one.

In,

In.

Now let all of your air go.

Big release and hold at the bottom,

Suspend.

So air is let out,

Hold it there.

Feel the stillness,

Feel the serenity in your body.

Soften and relax your muscles.

Holding,

You can do it.

Four,

Three,

Two,

And back to normal breathing.

Take notice of how your body feels.

Is anything coming up?

Are there any sensations?

Any tingling?

Just let go.

Natural breathing.

We're going to do a second round coming up.

Keep breathing.

For this one,

We're going to take a double inhale through the nose and a double exhale.

So it sounds like this.

As you do this,

I remind you to keep your body relaxed.

Don't let those shoulders creep up.

Let's try it.

Here we go.

Even though there is some dynamic movement to this,

Try to make it soft.

Belly,

Chest,

Let it go.

In,

In,

Out.

Last one,

Fill up.

Take one more sip.

And a big side exhale.

Amazing job letting go.

Such good work,

Everybody.

I feel such stillness after this practice

This was something new and unique to me but it was really energizing and refreshing. I did feel a little bit lightheaded at parts (I’m not sure if that is normal or not), but I also felt immensely more mindful and calm.
