And to begin,

I'd just like you to take a moment to settle comfortably into your space.

There's no need to rush,

Nothing demanding your attention.

This time is simply for you.

Just allow your eyes to gently close if that feels good,

Or just soften your gaze.

And let's begin just by noticing your breath.

There's no need to change it,

Just observe your natural inhale,

And your gentle exhale.

And with each exhale,

Just feel yourself arriving more fully in this moment,

More at ease.

And then just bring that awareness to the crown of your head.

I'd like you to imagine a soft wave of relaxation beginning to build at the top of your head.

And whatever this wave of relaxation touches,

It softens and eases down.

Just imagine that wave beginning to move now,

Gently removing any tightness in the scalp,

Melting away any tension,

Releasing and easing down.

As you allow that wave to flow down to your forehead,

Smoothing out the tension,

Softening your brow,

Your eyes resting deeply,

Your cheeks and your jaw begin to loosen,

Your tongue feeling heavy and relaxed,

Your mouth and lips just natural and soft.

And that wave continues down to your neck and shoulders,

As areas hold unspoken assumptions,

Quiet doubts,

Or even fixed ideas about what's possible.

And on your next exhale,

Just feel your neck lengthen ever so slightly,

Your shoulders dropping,

Releasing the weight of old unquestioned beliefs,

As your shoulders soften even more.

Your arms begin to relax from the top all the way down to the bottom,

Your elbows,

Your forearms,

Hands and fingers,

Your palms warm and heavy,

As that wave continues down into your chest.

And if the exhale creates a little bit more space,

You let go of any guardedness,

Your upper back eases down,

Your lower back releases,

Any clinging to tension just begins to flow easily away,

Your abdomen softens,

No longer holding,

Just allowing.

And that wave continues down to your hips and your pelvis settle deeply,

Thighs becoming heavy,

Knees becoming soft,

Your calves release that tension all the way down to your feet and your toes,

Your whole body now rests more fully,

Letting go effortlessly.

Just getting ready to explore something important,

Just allowing your body to rest easily and naturally in your space.

I'd like you to imagine yourself standing before a vast garden gate.

The gate is ancient and made of wrought iron,

Overgrown with vines that have thrived for centuries,

And it feels timeless,

Secure and inviting.

You know in your core that this garden has always existed for your renewal,

For tending what grows deep within us.

As you push the gate open and step inside,

Your body relaxes even more profoundly,

You begin to walk along a winding path,

Each step is slower and heavier than the one before,

Each one is more peaceful.

The air is rich with earth and blooming flowers,

And sounds are muted as if the garden holds the world to gentle distance.

The path beneath your feet feels alive,

Nourishing and encouraging you onwards.

Every step deeper into the garden is a step into greater calm,

Every step is a step inwards.

And ahead you can see a gentle slope descending down into the heart of the garden.

This slope leads to the deeper regions of your mind,

A place where beliefs can take root,

Where old growth can be cleared,

And new seeds can be planted.

And there are ten steps leading you down into the heart of that garden,

And in a moment I'm going to count from ten down to one,

And with each step you'll descend one level deeper into your mind,

And doubling your relaxation with every step.

Ten.

Descending now,

Your body softening even further,

Deeper,

Your mind quieting,

But your breath is slow and effortless,

And your awareness is expanding.

Seven.

Releasing all striving and all your fixed views.

Six.

Sinking safely inwards.

Five.

Halfway down,

Feeling profoundly relaxed and ever more receptive.

Four.

Any remaining tightness is just fading away.

Three.

Your subconscious is opening gently.

Two.

Nearly there,

Serene and ready.

One.

Arriving fully in this deep and fertile space,

In this deep place where the conscious mind rests,

And the subconscious can listen naturally.

But in this relaxed place where your conscious mind can simply rest,

And your deeper mind listens easily,

Let's take a quiet moment to recognize something powerful about how your mind works.

Science has shown us clear examples.

The people who strongly believed a meal that contained gluten,

Experienced real symptoms,

Hives and itching and stomach issues,

Even when there was no gluten at all.

Their belief alone triggered their body's response.

This shows that a negative belief,

Even if untrue,

Can manifest in our bodies and in our lives.

But there is a positive side.

If you truly adopt the belief,

I rarely get sick,

My body stays strong and healthy,

People can often go years without colds or flu,

Because the mind influences the immune system in profound ways.

And these aren't rare cases.

They prove that our beliefs can shape our physical reality.

Sometimes our beliefs can even override our genes.

Your thoughts and expectations act like instructions to your body,

To your experiences,

And to what shows up in your life.

And the good news is that you can examine those beliefs,

You can question them,

And you can choose better ones.

So now,

Gently,

Just bring to mind one or two beliefs that you've carried,

That might not be serving you anymore.

They could be about your health,

Your skills and capabilities,

Or what you think is just how you are.

And there's no need to force anything if nothing specific comes,

Because that's fine.

Your deeper mind knows what's ready.

And just imagine these old beliefs as simple written words floating in front of you,

On a sheet of paper.

Notice them without judgement,

As once they may have made sense,

They may have helped you in some way.

But now you can ask quietly,

Is this still completely true for me?

Does this still need to limit me?

And as you ask,

Just feel how your body and mind respond.

Often there's a subtle sense of lightness,

And a quiet no from deeper within.

And so,

With each slow exhale,

Just allow these old beliefs to begin to fade.

See the words slowly dissolving off the piece of paper.

And they don't need to be thought or erased forcefully,

Just acknowledged and gently released.

And with every exhale,

More space opens inside you,

Clear and calm,

And ready for something stronger and more empowering.

Allow your deeper mind to continue this release,

Freeing you from any outdated instructions that no longer match who you are becoming.

And in this open space,

Begin to feel what it's like to take charge of your beliefs.

And quietly to yourself,

Just try on a new belief that feels good and true.

It might be something like,

My body is strong and resilient.

I learn and grow easily.

I attract positive experiences.

Just whatever feels right for you right now.

And repeat it silently a few times.

Notice how your body feels when you halt this thought.

Does your chest open a little?

Does your breathing deepen?

Does your energy feel clearer?

That physical response of your deeper mind saying,

Yes.

Just allow this new belief to settle in,

Like a clear instruction you're giving yourself.

And just allow this new belief to settle in,

Like a clear instruction you're giving yourself.

Picture your future self,

Living with this belief already in place.

See yourself moving through your days with that quiet confidence,

Noticing how situations shift in your favour,

How your body responds positively,

And how opportunities align more easily.

Your subconscious mind is absorbing this now,

Strengthening the new pathways,

Making this belief feel more and more natural,

Day by day.

You can return to this practice anytime,

Noticing old beliefs,

Questioning them gently,

And choosing new ones that empower you,

Because you are the author of your inner instructions.

And when your beliefs support you,

Your reality begins to reflect that support,

Naturally,

Powerfully,

Over time.

And just allow all of this to settle deeply.

Your subconscious mind knows exactly what to keep,

What to strengthen,

And what to release.

And you'll continue to work on this gently in the background,

Even when you're not thinking about it.

You don't need to remember every word,

As those important shifts are already happening.

In a moment,

I'm going to bring you back to a full waking awareness,

Feeling refreshed,

Clearer,

And more in charge of your inner world.

1.

Your awareness gently returning.

2.

Energy flowing comfortably through your body.

3.

Your breath feeling deeper and fuller.

4.

Feeling calm,

Grounded,

And empowered.

5.

Bringing this quiet strength with you into your day,

And beyond.

And then,

Whenever you feel ready,

You can gently open your eyes.
