We will use hypopressive breathing (holding it like a straw holds water), receive love, acceptance and comfort from a compassionate divine being. We expand our experience of ourselves as a caring being, accepting that the love that we have and express is witnessed, received and welcome. We acknowledge a trusting of our own sense of healthy boundaries as a way of extending love for ourselves.

Let's do a meditation together on acceptance and self-love.

When we do the breathing part and when we hold our breath I want you to imagine that you're holding it in the same way that a straw holds water when it's pushed down into the water.

If you suck it up and you hold your finger on the top of it and then you let it go and then you don't let it all go out.

I want you to hold your breath that same way.

It's a different way of holding it that allows a different set of muscles to be active and relaxed.

So let's breathe in and breathe out to the sides of our ribs and hold our breath there.

We'll do a couple more breaths like that.

Relax your face,

Relax your eyes,

Let them lean on the tissues where they reside.

Relax your tongue,

Relax your jaw,

Relax your cheekbones.

The last breath.

Letting it with that straw.

Now I want you to imagine that you have an angel friend.

It could be somebody that has passed away,

Somebody that you felt unconditionally loved by.

It could be an imaginary figure,

Somebody you look up to and I want you to imagine them holding your shoulders,

Giving you warmth through their hands.

I'm imagining my angel or imaginary being holding me from behind.

I'm also imagining that I have wings and I feel self-conscious about these wings.

These are the wings that I use to help others,

To help them love themselves.

And somehow my being feels that I don't have the right to wear those wings.

And my angel friend is here to reassure me that those really are my wings.

That is who I am.

I am a loving and caring person and my loving and caring in this world makes a difference.

And I allow myself to feel those words landing.

I feel warmth and as I allow myself to accept that I am a loving and caring person that has so much love to share in this world.

And I don't need reassurance from the people I'm sharing this love with that my love is received,

That my love is even wanted,

That my love is witnessed.

And on some level in my being I have a need for that love to be witnessed.

And I accept that it is being witnessed even if I don't notice how.

And there's a hurting in my heart when I consider that it may not be witnessed.

And my angel puts a loving hand on my heart,

On my chest and just loves the part of me that doesn't think that my caring is being witnessed.

And if you have any tears or any feeling that accommodates this just allow yourself to feel that.

Allow yourself to feel witnessed right here.

Acknowledging that your caring is welcome,

Your caring is witnessed,

Your caring is here.

It's blooming,

It's flourishing,

It's beaming out of you.

And allow yourself to accept that this witness that is here with you,

This witness is loving you.

There's like a circle of energy that flows through your heart and through this being and back through your heart.

And the caring that you bring to this world is allowed to grow in this circle.

It feels safer,

It feels secure,

It feels self-assured,

It feels confident,

It feels loved.

That caring is who you are,

That caring is the love that you share in this world.

And the witness is also here to recognize that you can trust yourself,

You can trust yourself to know how and when to show your caring.

And that caring for yourself refills the well of caring that you have for others.

And you need to be mindful of the healthy boundaries and the healthy structures and habits and self-caring that you need to keep this well of caring energy flowing.

Your witness is here to remind you to trust yourself that you know.

Now let's take a few breaths together and anchor this knowing in your body.

So listen for a place in your body where this knowing of your caring wants to live.

Is there a place that's calling out to you?

Pick me,

Pick me.

The place in my body is just below my navel.

And you may have a completely different part of your body,

It could be your foot,

Your arm,

Your solar plexus.

I don't know why this caring wants to live in that particular part and it doesn't matter.

And it could change for another time.

And right now I'm imagining what it looks like,

The anchor that I'm creating there.

Does it have a color?

Does it have a shape?

Does it have a texture?

Is it warm?

Is it cool?

Is it moving?

Does it flow or swirl or jump around?

Is it solid?

Is it excited?

Is it calm?

And whenever for the rest of the day when you feel like you need this to remind yourself that your caring is safe and that you can trust yourself to know how and when to extend your caring,

Just remember this place in your body where you have stored an anchor for it,

Where you have a house for it.

And just take a few seconds to let it fill you from that place,

Just knowing that that is who you are.

Thank you.

I bow to the Divine in you.

Whatever you experienced somehow it’s coincide with mine so when you talk about no one see your love or your care. It brought tears in my closed eyes. Thank you for teaching me to set boundaries so I learn to love myself too
