This is a small exercise called pull and release and yes the expression comes from the old-fashioned toilets where you had a chain you could pull to flush.
So pull and release is a little exercise you can use if you've been affected by a meeting you've had,
A conversation,
Maybe a phone call,
If you've been on a call with a customer,
If you've had a talk with a family member or maybe you just find yourself caught up in old memories and it starts to affect your whole system.
That's when you have the option to use pull and release.
So here's how it works.
You breathe in through your nose,
Letting the oxygen really get in and then visualize the air moving all the way up over the bridge of your nose,
Over your eyes,
Your forehead,
To the top of your head and even through your brain.
Let it cleanse as it moves down the back of your head and release it out through your mouth.
In through the nose,
Up and in through your brain and further down your neck and this time allow all this clean air nourishment to mix with whatever heavy feeling might be inside and just release.
Again in through the nose,
Up and in through your brain,
Let it cleanse your brain,
Even further down this time,
Maybe you've got stuck emotions in your chest,
Maybe there's something in your belly,
Then breathe out through your mouth and letting it all go,
Releasing downward,
Just like you would do down a drain.
And again in through the nose,
All the way up,
Let your head be fully cleansed,
Let it mix with the heavy energy somewhere inside of you,
Then release out through the mouth,
Let it go.
Do it a few times,
Set your own pace now.
Really feel where do I need to really do a pull and release inside of me right now.
Fresh air and nourishment in through the nose,
Let it mix with whatever you no longer want to carry and flush it out with your breath,
Release through the mouth and really feel yourself letting go.
And this is an exercise you can use in any situation where you feel this is heavy,
I don't want to carry this any further.
That's when you use pull and release.
