What do you see when you close your eyes is a special meditation that is private to you behind your eyes only. When we look for what we're seeing clarity reveals itself into what lies within. Sometimes obstructed, sometimes pure, our vision sets in motion divine manifestation. The choice is yours. But I always advise starting with where you are. Don't force the mind. Observe with loving and curious eyes. What is produced is unique to you and should be eliminated. Enjoy!

Good morning,

Opulent mindfulness.

Welcome and happy International Women's Day.

Today's meditation is entitled,

What do I see when I close my eyes?

What do I see when I close my eyes?

Do you see visions,

Past and old?

Do you see future?

Do you see memories?

Do you see remnants of the shapes and forms that you just placed your eyes upon?

Do you see your own face?

Today's meditation is going to be an effort to move toward formlessness because what happens when we have snapshots in our mind?

The brain only sees pictures,

Not movies.

So we begin to tell a story around those pictures that may or may not have ever been true or are to become true.

So then,

Let's clear the slate.

Drop edges and form lines and boundaries and move more into our essence.

The essence of our experiences,

More textured with sensation or emotion.

So come to your comfortable seat.

Drop down into your bones and relax.

Rest your body.

Be still.

Quiet your eyes and let that quiet,

Still energy begin to find its way into your heart space where you may rest and be present for what comes up.

Quiet,

Intimate time with yourself in reflection and healing.

Push down through your base.

Lift your heart high.

Take a big belly breath in and a soothing,

Calming breath out.

And release any attachment to images and forms and lines.

Rest your eyes and see into the distant horizon.

No need to conjure up any images or create a vista of your own making.

Let's become clear and neutral with an unadulterated mind.

So we quiet the noise so that wisdom may speak to us.

Ideas will come,

Innovation,

Creativity solutions to any confusion,

Obstacles or conflicts that are in your way right now.

Rest your eyes.

Release into your bones and simply allow the brain to become quiet.

The brain is never without thoughts.

We allow the volume to be turned down on the activity.

Permission to rest your mind.

Here we are in our essence,

Reaching toward formlessness,

Allowing for more free flow being to exist.

Simply being particles,

Elements,

Energy.

Simply being.

Now as you take a big breath in,

Press your skin out,

Expand your physical shape.

Understand what that's like,

Pressing the body bigger and soften into your bones.

And now see if you might not do the same thing with the casing around your mindset.

When you breathe in,

Can you press your brain bigger?

Expand your mindset.

Having a perspective,

Vision,

Possibility.

Just be in that open space for a moment without constraints,

Tethers,

Conformity,

And the history of our habitual ways.

Pressing out,

Expand more,

Soften your eyes.

Let the mind open big and wide.

And where did you go?

Drop into your bones,

Remaining grounded and present and safe to explore outward.

Relax your lips and jaw,

Tongue and neck.

Feeling where you are rather than seeing forms and shapes.

Now place your awareness around the heart space.

Pressing out,

Get big,

Expand,

Breathe in.

Remain large as your body drops back into your seat and the heart,

The heart mind now is expanding,

Sometimes uncomfortable.

We sit in that open vulnerable space with humility back to the earth,

Hummus humility.

Bringing our awareness to the heart space and open mind space.

Forgetting and forgiving all forms in between.

Be in the space as they coexist.

Uniting the two as one.

Namaste.
